WAS HORUS THE PROTOTYPE FOR THE JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OFGOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT?
It is important that the reader be familiar with the concept of "archetypes"beforehe reads the following article. Having done this then let us continue.The story of Horus, a major Egyptian God, is told in the Book of Vivifying the SoulForever over 3,000 years before the birth of Christ.
The Jesus story in the Bibleis in many places a recycled version of the Horus story.
The comparisonsgiven below prove without a doubt that much in the New Testament is full of mythsand stories recycled from earlier times and made to fit the various characters of theBible.
