Please note that we have nothing to do with the Trinity beliefs. In fact, I have a number of very good papers posted that cover the deception of the Trinity quite thoroughly. The purpose of Baptism is dedication to Jehovah God, and this is done first in your heart. The physical baptism is for a public declaration, to affirm your Spiritual dedication.

Unfortunately the Jehovah's Witnesses do a bad witness for him when it comes to baptism. They use the titles instead of the biblically sound normal formula of Jesus name. one must remember that the trinity whether in baptism, (Made up first by Justin Martyr in 145 AD)or Godhead (Tertullian copied Pagan Plato's works of 'Timaeus' and coined the phrase 'Trias or Trinity' in 197 AD)it is scriptually invalid and thus we will incur the judgement of God by these man made ideas. See Matthew 7:19-27.
