Adelaida DeLuna is a shy and beautiful seventeen year old girl with a secret. She just happens to be a half vampire. When her immortal parents decide that it is moving time once again, Adelaida willfully travels with them to Fair Haven, Vermont.

What Adelaida least expects is to run into to her own kind. While on a quick hunting trip, she runs into Berylnn Matheson, a quirky blonde vampire. The two quickly befriend each other, which causes Adelaida to meet the love of her life, Braiden Matheson, Berylnn’s god-like British brother. Without any control, Braiden and Adelaida fall in love with each other almost instantly.

When everything seems all perfect in Adelaida’s life, her world comes crashing down. She is forced to move, leaving the love of her life and her new extended family behind.

When it seems that things cannot get any worse, Braiden suddenly disappears without a trace. Will Adelaida leave her parents and new friends to the save one she loves?
