Nice reflective piece. Brought to mind the story @ WSJ firing their 'liberal' blogging correspondent. Mob interest doesn't linger. Participatory culture provides many birds eye views, but no safety nets. Have we refined our sense of forgiveness enough to tolerate the 'spot-on' errors.
