RE: Riley Fox
Dear Mr. Glasgow:
Recently, Kevin and I met with investigator Pete Piazza. At that meeting, much to our
shock and disbelief, Investigator Piazza told us that no work had been done on Riley’s
investigation for 2 %4 years. During the last 2 % years, Kevin and I have had a number of
meetings with Investigator Piazza in which we had assumed that he and others were working on
Riley's case. Obviously, we have been misled about the efforts to find our daughter's killer.
Investigator Piazza stated that Will County does not have the “manpower” to handle Riley's case.
We are requesting that you seek the assistance of the Illinois Attorney General or other
law enforcement agencies. Drew Petersen poses much less threat to the general public,
particularly children, than Riley’s killer.
We also note that the events of our civil rights case seems to coincide with the apathy in
finding Riley’s killer. We are not lawyers but you and the Sheriff's Department seem to have a
clear conflict of interest.
Sincerely,
Wea ee

Kevin Fox
