 PRESS RELEASE REGARDING THE INCIDENT AT CITY HALLYESTERDAYNairobi September 07, 2013 Dr. Evans Kidero the Governorof Nairobi has termed the incident that took place at CityHall yesterday as unfortunate and regrettable and assuredresidents of Nairobi that the matter which was now in thehands of the investigative authorities will be pursuedwithin the due process to its logical conclusion.In a statement issued in Nairobi today, Dr. Kidero for thefirst time revealed that during the commotion that ensuedat City Hall yesterday, he was personally assaulted aroundhis lower abdomen, an act he found embarrassing,disgusting and highly disrespectful.
“I wish to regard what happened to me y
esterday at CityHall as a despicable act of aggression on my personalintegrity and that of the office of the Governor
”.
 Dr. Kidero said that they have information that thestorming of City Hall yesterday was a premeditated actorchestrated by negative forces who are opposed to theon-going reforms to streamline governance of the City.
