Technology has brought about many changes into many areas of out life.

Discuss the impact of the changes, giving specific examples Year 2011 has broght about a plethora of technological breakthroughs. The world has observe the many changes man has made since dinosaurs roam the Earth. The constant craving to create gadgets to further enchance the state of the present day technology has led to a paradigm shift in the modern day philosophy about technology becoming from a mere entertainment to a vital need. Technology has clearly brought out many changes into the diverse area in our life

Technology is defined as the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Many has become the favoured witness to the on-going development in the technological world. Little is known about the impact these futuristic gizmo, seeing how easily we are bringing these things into the comfort of our own home is greatly alarming.

One of the many aspect that our life that has been wedged by ths phenomenal research is the transportation sector.

The history of transportation dates back to 3500 yearz B.C. At this point of time, man realised the need to transport goods and freight using carts and wheels. Therefore, technology has brought about the existence of riverboats and carts. This innovation has alter the course of the future to greater heights.

The never-ending drive to advance ourselves to the future has in turn led man to come up with a variant of mode of transportation, a few being cars, bicycles, tricycles, trains, bullet trains and tankers. With the existence of transportation, everyday chores from moving, packing and delivering goods has in turn to be running with ease.

However, the constant need to visualize a world with the assistance of the practicality of applied sciences has surely made a few among others had an epiphany on the impact of technology in our life.

Dating back to the early 80's, scientist has elaborated on the severe amount of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The high level of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere can be clearly observed particularly during the hot summer solstice or locally, the dry season. During these times, the sunlight that penetrates the ozone layer would heat up the surface of the Earth and then be removed when deflected by some of the shiny surfaces on Earth. However, because of the high amount of carbon dioxide gas in the air which creates some sort of a layer of heat inductor that causes most light that penetrates the ozone are reflected back to Earth. The heat that travles with the sunlight are also reflected back to the surface of the Earth. Heat is trapped in the atmosphere, increasing the temperature from norm to above average. This phenomenon is known as the 'green house' effect; heat is circulated again and again in the 'house', the Earth, making it warmer and hotter, exactly like the purpose of the green house.

Progression in technologies has also brought along new inventions and innovations that put an advantage in the medical field as much as it did in the subject of transportation. Doctors and physicians around the world has put their minds together, outsourcing ideas and thoughts to improve on the medical contraptions. Futuristic gadgets and operations that can in time save lives from the end of their fingers can easily opted out as a win-win situation to all surgeons.

One type of surgery that medical practitioners are looking into now is remote surgery. Combines with the element of telecommunication and robotics, surgeons from all around the world can perform surgery on a patient half the world across. Because of the small incision, a fast recovery is ascertained. Moreover, patients wouldn't have to travel to meet world-class surgeons, thus minimizing the amount of money spent just to get the patient across the world.

Furthermore, technological progression has brought about the existence of vaccines. Vaccines are a type biological preparation that improves immunity to a particular disease. Hence, by getting ourselves shots from certain type of vaccines, we aquired immunity to the said type of pathogens. Vaccination, therefore is a vital instrument in keeping up with our health. However, periodic boosters are administered to enchance the efficiency of the vaccines. Moreover, chances are, the presence of inactivated macrobes can therefore lead to vaccine-associated disease.

Telemedicine is the use of telecommunication and information technologies in order to provide clinical health care at a distance. By eliminating distance barrier, doctors and healthcare practitioners are able to cater to patients outside their working line.

Also known as eHealth or telehealth, telemedicine incorporates technologies such as web camera, telephone and radios to enable doctors administrating their patients. Telemedicine is also cheap. Therefore, people in rural areas can easily gain access to a medical administration.

In conclusion, advancement in technology has indeed been beneficial to humanity. Consequently, the role of the future generation is to provide a much safer and environmentalfriendly appliences that can prolonged human kind.
