Confucius Institute Office Open House
 The staff members of the Confucius Institute Satellite office cordially inviteeveryone to an Open House on Thursday, September 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00p.m. in Hill Hall, Room 15, on the UMC campus. Snacks and drinks will beserved. This is an opportunity to meet the staff and learn what resources they offer for various collaborations in the community.
RiverView CPR Classes
 On Thursday, September 12th, RiverView Health in Crookston is offering a freeCPR program specifically geared for the general public , as well as a HeartSaver CPR Course for those needing certification.The free course runs from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm and provides information aboutwhat to do in life-threatening situations, and is designed for all ages toparticipate. The skills that will be taught in the program are those that can beused to save the life of a loved one, a friend or neighbor. The courses are beingmade available to the public at no charge, thanks to grant funds made availableby the Crookston American Legion Post 20.The HeartSaver course meets the requirements for day care providers and othersneeding certification.
