Tool description /:

No.: MA_60W107-CX5 Revision e 10.2010

Adjustment screw Small blade

Block Big blade Blade seat socket 1). This tool is used for 7/8R ring corrugated cable, and the stripping dimension is adjustable from 9mm to 32mm. 7/8 9~32 mm

Top blade seat

2). The adjustable structure of the tool as shown (The stripping dimension is decided by the distance between the two blade edges). ( )

Adjust the tool according to stripping dimension, option a) for 60W107-C05, option b) for 60W107-CX5 / : a,b , a 60W107-C05, b 60W107-CX5 Blade up

Blade down
Blade down 1). Fix the small blade onto the block with the screw. Note: Please keep the blade edge parallel with the block edge. 2). Adjust the position of the block according to stripping dimension requirements, place the block into blade seat socket, and then rotate adjustment screw until stop. , a-1). When the small blade is tighted to the bottom of blade seat socket, the stripping dimension is 9.5+/-0.5mm.(pre-assembly stripping dimension of 60W107-C05) 9.5+/-0.5mm.(60W107-C05 )

Blade up

a-2). Keep blade down according to picture, the stripping dimension can be adjusted from 9mm to 16mm. 9~16mm

b-1). When the block is tighted to the bottom of blade seat socket, the stripping dimension +0.5 mm. (pre-assembly stripping is 16 dimension of 60W107-CX5) +0.5 mm.(60W107-CX5 ) 16

b-2). Keep blade up according to picture, the stripping dimension can be adjusted from 16mm to 32mm. 16~32mm

Stripping steps /:

1). Straighten the first 200mm of the cable, then cut the jacket with a knife on the corrugation top at a length of min. 30 mm. 200mm, 30mm .

2). Cut jacket from incision with a knife.

3). Remove broken jacket. Note: Be careful not to distort outer conductor.

4). Set the stripping tool with the spigot in the last corrugation valley before the end of the jacket.

5). Rotate tool repeatedly (dont push down) in direction as the stripping tool shown, until outer conductor and dielectric are cut through.

6). Repeat step 2 and 3 to remove the jacket; check the stripping dimension; inspect sealing surface, if deformed or damaged please return to step 1. 2 3

7). Please assemble the back nut and clamp ring onto cable according to instruction of the connector.

8). Insert the flaring tools guide sleeve into cables inner conduct, then rotate it to flaring. Note: Do not crack outer conductor.
