Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.41 Narrated byAbdullah bin MasudI asked Allah's Apostle, "O Allah's Apostle! What isthe best deed?" He replied, "To offer the prayers attheir early stated fixed times." I asked, "What isnext in goodness?" He replied, "To be good anddutiful to your parents." I further asked, what isnext in goodness?" He replied, "To participate inJihad in Allah's cause." Um-Haram said, "OAllah's Apostle! Invoke Allah that he makes meone of them. Allah's Apostle invoked Allah for her and slept again and woke up smiling. Once againUm Haram asked, "What makes you smile, OAllah's Apostle?" He replied, "Some of myfollowers were presented to me as fighters inAllah's cause," repeating the same dream. Um-Haram said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah thatHe makes me one of them." He said, "You areamongst the first ones." So, when you ask Allah (for something),ask for Al-Firdaus which is the best and highest part of Paradise."
