Pratt (arrived 7:20), Ronald P.Townsend, and P. C. Wu.No Council Members were absent.
MAYOR WIGGINS:
Called the meeting to order. He indicated theinvocation would be given by Jobie Presley, Youth Minister for East Hill BaptistChurch. He asked Council Member Hall to lead us
in
the Pledge of Allegiance.(Invocation was given and Pledge of Allegiance was recited.)
MAYOR WIGGINS:
First item of business were the minutes of aregularly scheduled meeting of the Council dated May
14,
2009, and asked if therewere any additions, corrections, or deletions?
COUNCIL MEMBER HALL:
Moved the approval.
COUNCIL MEMBER JERRALDS:
Seconded.
MAYOR WIGGINS:
There being no discussion, called for the vote.

AWARDS AND PRESENTATIONS:MAYOR WIGGINS:
First, recognized Natasha Reynolds, Green EnergySpecialistIEngineer with Energy Services of Pensacola for her development of a "GoGreen" presentation for sixth grade science students in participating schools. Ms.Reynolds made comments regarding this year's
Green Energy Education ProgramSixth Grade Essay Contest Winners.
Mayor Wiggins then called on each winningstudent to come-up and receive their award.The second presentation was the Mayor's Beautification Award forMay which he recognized Ms. Teresa dos Santos,Dennis Johnson, and DonnaPennington (not present) from Contract Resources for their efforts and participationin the
National Arbor Day Tree Planting Event.
He also read names of individualsfrom other community organizations who participated in the event.
