Australian Catholic Youth Festival: Australian Catholic Bishops invite young people from Year 9 to 25 years to participate in this festival. It will be one of fun, music, talks, workshops & activities celebrating the young heart of the Church. December 5-7 in Melbourne. For more information see notice board or www.youthfestival.catholic.org.au National Econference: Wednesday 16th October. Theme: Gospel of St John - The Love of God Made Visible. All welcome St Josephs History: This weekend photos are being displayed at St Anns Purnim, where Purnim parishioners may be able to identify some faces. Chaplaincy: Pastoral care and support in Warrnambools four primary & two secondary Government schools is provided by chaplains sponsored by the Warrnambool & District Chaplaincy Committee. A number of chaplain positions will be vacant in the near future. An information session is being held later this month. Further information Gayle (0418 316 547) Weekend Masses: Based on the Mass Count over the past few years St Josephs Parish now doesnt warrant four (4) Masses at weekends. Three (3) would adequately meet the present need. Over the past 12 months the number of Masses has been discussed by the Parish Pastoral Leadership Team and the Parish Liturgy Committee. The change from 4 to 3 Masses will not commence until early 2014. Meeting: Wednesday: Pastoral Leadership Team at 7.30pm (Gathering Space) Thursday: CWL at 10.30am

WEEK-DAY LITURGIES: Wednesday: 10.00am (Assembly of Word with Communion) Friday: 10.00am (Assembly of Word with Communion) NB: A funeral normally takes the place of the weekday liturgy.
