According to police sources, some passengers spotted the abandoned bag near the bag- gage claim area of the interna-
tional terminal and alerted the authorities. A security team rushed in and inspected the bag for any explosive sub- stances inside. Upon opening the bag, the team discovered 65 live ornamental \ufb01sh sealed in plastic covers inside three polythene bags.
The bag is suspected to be that of an unidenti\ufb01ed passen- ger who had arrived from Sin- gapore on Wednesday night. The passenger could have abandoned the bag to avoid seizure and arrest by the Cus- toms
However, preliminary in- vestigations were conducted on the incident and airport authorities sent the bag back to Singapore.\u25a0
