How to Install Mac OSX on Eee Box B202(shout out goes to maceee.com for a lot of the material here)Ingredients1. Eee Box B202 complete setup with attached monitor, keyboard and mouse.2. iDeneb 10.5.4 DVD2a. (optional) Shinrai's SupportDVD3. External USB DVD Drive4. A couple of free hoursPre-Install ConfigTake note that this install will wipe our your entire HDD. You can use the AsusRecovery Disk if you want to go back to using XP.1. Insert the iDeneb DVD into the DVD Drive and reboot.2. Rapidly hit Esc on boot and choose the DVD drive when prompted3. When you see the menu bar on the initial install screen, go to Utilities > DiskUtility.4. Click on your disk and and under Partition, click on the Volume Scheme dropdown and choose 1 Partition. This guide assumes one partition on the entire drive.5. Click Options and pick GUID Partition Table. Make sure that the drive isformatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). You may also rename your drive here ifyou want.6. Click Apply and wait for a minute or so to finish the format. Click the redbutton to close the utility.7. Back to the main install screen, follow the screens. On the last screen, clickCustomize and check on the following:7a. Expand by clicking the triangle for Patches then Chipsets and check ICHxFixed.7b. Expand the triangle for Kernel and check Kernel 9.4.0 Vanilla.7c. Expand the triangle for Network then Wireless and check Broadcom.7d. Expand the triangle for Fix and check both FireWire Remove andApplePS2Controller7e. Expand the triangle for Video, then the triangle for Intel. Finally,check the box for GMA950.8. Click Continue and you can Skip DVD verification in the next screen if you wantto install faster. Install takes around 30 minutes. Afterwards, reboot into MacOSX.9. On reboot, finish the initial setup for your Mac.9a. Skip the registration screen by hitting Alt + Q on the necessaryscreen.9b. When creating your account, make sure you include a password.Troubleshooting:Q: My install screen and progress bar disappeared after clicking Continue on thelast screen. What do I do?A: Just start again, but you don't need to reformat the drive again. Haven't founda fix for this yet so the best bet is to go back to step 1.Drivers and Fixes1.
