HOW COILED TUBING OPERATED??

the center of the CT operation coiled tubing unit (CTU), where the flexible steel pipe is spooled. this pipe is kept on a large storage reel during transport to the wellsite as the pipe is spooled, it will pass through the gooseneck and is straightened just before enter the borehole At the end of the operation, the flexible pipe is pulled out of the borehole and spooled back on the reel.

a high swivel joint- enable the treatment fluids to pump through the tubing even the reel is rotating an injector head pulls the CT string off the spool and run into the wellbore from the cabin, operator control the hydraulically driven injector head A stripper (beneath the injector head)- provide a dynamic seal around the tubing string. a BOP is installed between the stripper and wellhead
