This is a crossfire brief. It covers the parents right to participate in every stage of the proceedings just as any lawyer you might hire would. it also looks at the child's right to the parents involvement. My briefs challenging the courts jurisdiction was given back to me in open court as I was told I wasn't party to the action. A curious notion and one they seem to assume a priori. Well.. they're wrong and their judgments are void. I don't like it any more than you do but it is the law.
