After Impact“Fail-Safe”TEASERCompletely BLACKBut we HEAR rumbling. It sounds familiar because it’s the samerumbling from the impact. That might be because it’s only beenTITLE:

FADE IN:
EXT. THE A.R.K. - NIGHT
COMPSON’S still on the ground, holding one end of CARL’sstretcher. We’re picking up from where we left off from beforeas --CARLOh God.Compson looks at what Carl’s looking at, which also happens tobe same thing that everyone in a three mile radius of here’slooking at.Looking up, from what one can only surmise is the area above thesite of the impact, a sphere of debris and light only an objectfrom interstellar space could be responsible.Everyone’s captivation suffocates from the subsequent wave ofdread, as they realize that they’re beneath the largest mushroom cloud witnessed by humanity. Nobody’s breaking out their camera-phones though. Instead they --COMPSONMove! Everybody! Move!MATT EACHIM, not much older than a teenager, not exactly aseasoned student athlete either, is at the other end of the makeshift stretcher with Carl on it.COMPSON (CONT’D)C’mon.MATTWhere?COMPSONWhat?CONTINUED
 
MATTWhere are we --COMPSONBack here!Compson pulls Carl’s stretcher his direction, which also happensto be the same direction as the entrance to the A.R.K. Anotherone of the guys from before, CRAIG SACKS, middle aged, earnest, mid-western arm chair quarterback, and like everyone else, veryshaken, sees them, trailing, but wants to knowCRAIGWhere are you guys --COMPSONTo the A.R.K.MATTBut it’s sealed.COMPSONYeah.CRAIGThen why are we going back?COMPSONWhen we get there I’ll -- Whereis everyone?CRAIGThey’re following the other guys.COMPSONWhich other guys?CRAIG(pointing)Those guys.Craig’s pointing to the PARAMILITARY from before. The other menfrom the Overturned bus are making their way with them, and theflocks of people who were behind the gates.
 
COMPSONGet this side.(-- of the stretcher)Go to the door of the A.R.K.(to both Craig and Matt)Meet me there!CRAIGWhere are you going?
