Molecular structure of Demerol, an opiate narcotic pain killer.

Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009 apparently after an injection of Demerol, one of many trade names of the opium derived chemical called Meperidine.

The exact cocktail of drugs he was using is the subject of much speculation in the press and in blogs.

Meperidine is an opiate narcotic analgesic used in humans.
