ReferringtoFigure1onthefollowingpage,theHydrogen/Oxygengeneratorhousingisaround cylinderconstructedwithhightemperatureCPVCpipe,amaterialwidelyusedbythebuilding industryinplumbingsystems.CPVCpipeisextremelydurableandtemperaturetolerant.Its alsoaveryfriendlymaterialinthatitseasytoworkwithandcanbeusedtofabricateother thingssuchasfurniture,planters,andhousingsforjustaboutanything. TheGeneratorhousingcontainsabasiccoilandtwocylindricalelectrodes;usedtogenerate bothhydrogenandoxygen.Eachcanbemadefromavarietyofmaterialssuchasstainlesssteel and/orceramic,alsoverydurablematerials.However,twoatomicallydifferentformsof hydrogenareproducedwithintheGenerator.Mostofthegeneratedhydrogenis orthohydrogen,averypowerfulandfastburninggascreatedbythetwoelectrodes.Aprecisely controlled,highfrequencyelectronicsignalfromtheHyTronicsModuleactivatesandcontrols theelectrodes. Technicallyspeaking,theHydrogen/OxygenGeneratoritselfisanelectronicbasedunit.The twoelectrodesformabasiccapacitor,thousandsoftimeslargerthancapacitorsusedintypical circuits,withwateractingasitsdielectric.Theinnerelectrodeisnegativelycharged,andthe outerelectrodeispositivelycharged,bythehighfrequencyHyTronicssignal.Chemically,each watermolecule(H20)iscomposedoftwopositivelychargedatomsofhydrogenandone negativelychargedatomofoxygen.Sinceoppositechargesattract,thepositivelycharged hydrogenatomsarepulledtowardtheinnerelectrode.But,atthesameinstant,thenegatively chargedoxygenatomsarepulledtowardtheouterelectrode.Thisactionalignseverywater moleculebetweentheelectrodes,withtheendsofeachmoleculebeingpulledinopposite directions.Inanutshell,thisisthehydrolysisprocesscentraltohydrogenextraction.

Forafewbriefmoments,onlymoreaccuratealignmentandincreasedpullingactionuponthe watermoleculesoccurs.But,theHyTronicssignalpulseskeepchargingthewatercapacitorto higherandhighervoltagelevels;actuallyseveralthousandvolts.Suddenlytheelectricalforces becomesogreatthatthewatermoleculesburstapart(scientistscallthisactiondisassociation) intotheirgaseousformsofhydrogenandoxygen.IfyouwereabletolookintotheGenerator, thisactionwouldbeobviousbecauseoftheformationofmillionsoftinyhydrogenandoxygen gasbubbles.AslongastheHyTronicssignalisapplied,thewatercapacitorremainsfully charged;continuouslycreatingorthohydrogenandoxygen. Anotherelectroniccircuitisformedbythegeneratorcoil.Thisisaninductivecircuit,meaningit createsamagneticfieldasopposedtothechargedfieldcreatedbythewatercapacitor.The verylowfrequencyHyTronicssignal(actuallyashortpulse)activatesthemagneticfieldofthe coil.Assoonasthepulsestops,themagneticfieldcollapses.Thiscreatesanevenstronger magneticfield,butafieldofoppositepolarity.Thatishowaninductivecircuitworks,anaction commonlycalledinductivekick.Eachpulseispreciselytimedsothatalmostimmediately afterthemagneticfieldreverses,anothershortpulsearrives.Onceagainthecoilischargedand itsmagneticfieldcollapses.Butnowthecontinuallyreversingmagneticfieldbecomeseven strongerduetoaddedenergyofeachnewpulse.Eventually(actuallywithinjustafewseconds) thecoilreachesitsmaximummagneticstrength,calleditssaturationpoint. Atthispoint,wevecoveredtheconceptsneededtounderstandthebasicfunctioningofthe generator.EveryothercomponentoftheWaterhybridsystemissimplyusedtoprecisely controltheactionofthegenerator.ByvaryingthestrengthandfrequencyoftheHyTronic signals,theratebywhichhydrogenandoxygenarecreatedcanbevariedtomatchengine requirementsatanyparticularmoment.Waterissuppliedbythetankandpump,whilewater levelwithintheGeneratoriscontrolledbyalevelsensorandswitch.Forsafetypurposes,a reliefvalveprotectsagainstexcesspressurebuildupwithinthegenerator.Separateportsare providedforattachinghosestoroutegastotheengineandtoanoptionalgaugetomonitorgas pressurebuildupwithinthegenerator.Adrainvalveisinstalledtoallowperiodicflushingof accumulatedmineralsandcontaminants.Thebottomendcapisthreadedsothatthe Generatorcaneasilybeopenedupforinspectionorrepairandforoccasionalcleaningofthe electrodesandcoil.Twopairsofstainlesssteel(copper,oranyconductivemetal)rodends RunaCaronWater 12

Thevolumeofparahydrogenandoxygencreatedbythecoilcanbepreciselyregulatedby adjustingthepulsewidthandamplitudetrimmerpotentiometersofitsassociatedcircuit.
