Much of the church has become filled with traditions and doctrines of men. Itis worldly and rich, having need of nothing. The lukewarm prevail and do not see the shame of their nakedness (sin) due to blindness (deception). Much of the church thinks of itself as alive butis mostly dead. False doctrines dominate. Many churches have simply become a reflection of theworld around them (ineffective). Even so, there are a few (remnant) that have not defiled their garments and have kept the Word of God. Many more are waking up as the end of the age fastapproaches. Jesus’ message to the end time churches is to
repent
(forsake your sinfulness),
holdfast
(to the Gospel) and
overcome
(all sin).is coming and the church will go through it as a refining fire of God to makeready the Bride of Christ (glorious and holy – without spot, blemish or wrinkle). The wheat will beseparated from the tares (weeds), but even so, much deception will abound – the wise willunderstand. God in His great mercy is going to pull many from their worldliness (perhaps kickingand screaming) during this time. Many soiled and filthy garments will be washed and made .The persecution and tribulation are truly necessary and will accomplish God’s purposes. This pamphlet will start in Genesis, establish necessary foundations and move to the end of the age.The true Body of Christ will be led by the Spirit with
Christ
as the head (Ephesians 5:23).

In order to understand the tribulation and the end of the age, you mustfirst understand the beginning. God created the world in six literal days and rested on the seventh.God repeats this pattern throughout His historical dealings with mankind. God created man on thesixth day and six is the number of man. God rested from His labors on the seventh day and sevenis the number of completion. Isaiah 46:10, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and fromancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” Each of the six creation days represent a one thousand year period (for a thousand yearsis as a day with God) that man will labor upon the earth (6000 years total). The seventh creationday, Sabbath, represents a thousand year period of rest known as the millennial reign of Christ(instituted upon the return of Christ). Although no one is exactly sure where we are in God’s timetable, we are certainly very close to the end of the six thousand years of man (self rule). Thetribulation will soon occur followed by the return of Christ. Romans 9:28, “For he will finish thework, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”The earth is truly six thousand years old despite what evolutionists and compromising Christianswill tell you. Death (resulting from sin) did not predate man’s fall. That would make the penaltyfor sin absurd (and already existing) and would make God a liar. In the beginning man lostfellowship with God due to disobedience and lost access to the tree of life. In the end, God willrestore communion (to those obedient through His Son Jesus Christ) and access to the tree of life.
 The Beginning:
Genesis 1:26, “And said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let themhave over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, andover all the , and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

In the beginning man was created in the image of God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) for God’s pleasure. God assigned man purpose by placing him in charge of His earthly creation. Man was torule over all created things upon the earth in subjection to God’s will.

The command was a test of obedience!
There was plenty of food in the garden (no lack):free will. God presented man with a rule and a choice – this would determine man’s heart/devotion!Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress itand to keep it. God created a woman out of man and she was known as Eve. Genesis 2:25, “Andthey were both , the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” Their unashamednakedness represented purity – without fault. There was no reason for guilt.

The devil called God a (assigned God his attribute John 8:44). The deception(implication-accusation) was that God was misleading the man and women so they would not become wise like Himself. The devil was telling Eve that she could disobey God (rebel against -

This is still being taught and believed today and in many churches! It has beenre-packaged and presented as once you believe in Christ (loose definition of faith), that you cancontinue in wickedness (sinfulness) and remain eternally secure (due to Christ’s sacrifice).Generally this is presented in several different ways: 1) Once saved always saved - irregardless of lifestyle; 2) Man cannot overcome sin in this life; 3) Christ’s righteousness is transferred to us, thusrequiring no righteousness of our own - His blood covers continued (unconfessed & unrepented)willful wickedness on your part; or 4) You can continue to casually (license) ask forgiveness of willful sin in your life.

There you have it the basis of all sin (selfishness), the desire/act to exert your willover God’s.Genesis 3:6, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food

Consequences:
There were several penalties associated with man’s rebellion, namelyseparation from God and death (no more access to the tree of life).

Sin affects the relationship!
Sin requires a sacrifice!
Genesis 3:21, “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, andclothed them.” The skins represented a covering for their sinfulness (nakedness). Animals had to be sacrificed (die) to provide this covering.Man could not be allowed access to the tree of life in his sinful rebellious wicked state. Genesis3:24, “So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and aflaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”When God asked Adam if he had eaten from the tree that he was commanded not to eat of:Genesis 3:12, “And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” Adam blamed Eve although he clearly knew the commandment. Rather than confess his sin, he shifted blame to another (excuses). At the judgment, many will be shifting blame – My pastor said, everybody did it, the church said, etc.Proverbs 28:13, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: butwhoso
confesseth
and
forsaketh
them shall have mercy.”
