Storage

Store unopened black-eyed peas in acool, dry place off the floor.

½ cup of black-eyed peas counts as 1ounce of lean meat from the

Store opened black-eyed peas in acovered non-metallic container andrefrigerate. Use within 3 to 4 days.They can also be frozen.
Uses and Tips
Black-eyed peas may be used cold insalads, in soups, casseroles, or stews, inchili, or as a vegetable side dish. They arealso excellent mixed with rice.
