Description

7/21/85 Accusation of excessive prescription of narcotics and negligence by the Medical Board of California and 8/16/96 License Surrender of the late Dr. Milton Uhley, a Beverly Hills physician known for his celebrity clientele, including Marilyn Monroe. According to this book, Uhley made after-midnight housecalls to "sedate her": http://tinyurl.com/lutr56

My father Dr. Henry Heimlich was a close personal friend of Uhley's and they co-authored a 1979 article about the Heimlich maneuver. The article was published in Clinical Symposia, a promotional booklet published by the CIBA Pharmaceutical Co, a company with which Dr. Uhley apparently had a special relationship.

Dr. Uhley is one of a string of doctors who lost their licenses for the excessive prescribing of narcotics. More here: http://medfraud.info/Carr-Krebs-Uhle...
