The Key here is to show a strong FPS element. This means high realism weapons that do damage, shootcorrectly and players that are movable and not bricks like ARMA. I would use the PC version if possibleand hope the guns have more recoil then we have seen to date in the videos. You will want to showMassive Draw distance the range of play for engagements and perhaps the detail in the terrain (if theediting team will do a edit to fly though it). You want people walking away saying, “1 hit kills, Realism,Simulation, Millsim” or whatever buzz word you can think of. ARMA2 has massive flaws in realism withHP based Tanks, and poor coding and almost cloned weapons. The key here will be to show that theweapons have life, the game is real, the combat will be deadly and your guns are not some inaccuratehard to use weapon. I would aim to show as much “Things that will impact game play” and “things thatare unique to OFP2” as possible. Below is a walkthrough I think might put you on the right path. I woulduse your judgment on this, based on what I said above. If CM wants to win the realism gamers crowd,make this as close to rainbow six as possible. We don’t need 100% true to life, we just need guns thatwork and a game that is playable. The cooler the features you add in that support this, the better thegame is. This is what we need to show, Gameplay – FPS shooting, the unique features and how thisgame is going to blow your mind.1.
At a fair pace go though the drop down menus in the editors showing us the content.2.
Place an AFV with a Grenade Launcher or TOW launcher inside a city area.3.
Place an opposing team APC.4.
Show us the interior by panning left to right and stopping for a half a second every full pan of the screen so we can take a screen cap of the film.5.
Fire the main cannon at the APC.6.
Quickly switch and pan around each slot. Go into the Rear cargo area.7.
Fire the Main cannon against a house.8.
If possible show the Smoke Launchers, Range Finder or any other interesting features of theAFV. Like the deploying animations we saw in the E3.9.
Leave the tank10.
Throw a Grenade.11.
Inspect the Damage of the house.12.
If possible kick the door.13.
Return to the editor and place select a playable unit that can call artillery.14.
Place a empty Jeep and Tank and Helicopter15.
Call artillery16.
Drive the Jeep and Tank in 3

for a short amount of time.17.
Watch Artillery fall while doing the above18.
Run over the jeep with a tank.19.
Hit a tree with a tank.20.
Return to the editor and place a Squad of troops on your team.21.
Pit them against a smaller PLA troop.22.
Attempt to show healing and injury.23.
If possible show commanding (don’t waste to much time on this)24.
If dismemberment happens view the killed opponent. Check for blood pool.25.
If possible show “picking of Gear from the enemy/your own team”
