participate in, and a large % of the money raised goes directly to our school. Walkathon Fall (almost 100% profit) Baskets and Bingo Spring (over 90% profit) Membership Drive August (much goes to the state PTA) 5th Grade Legacy Project (Ran as a business experience, proceeds used to leave a legacy item for the school) Book Fair Fall and Spring (we get a bigger % of proceeds in the spring by doing a small Fall bookfair) Sangre Ridge T-shirts/shorts sold at Enrollment Verification Day What do we spend the money on? Items that the school district does not provide!

Big Projects the past few years:

South Playground Equipment South Playground Basketball Court (Over $12,000) North Playground Shade Pavilion ($25,000) Smart Boards for every classroom, SPS purchased a few ($1000 each) Microphone/Speaker system for every classroom ($900 each) Every Year: (many of these items are done by donation and cost very little except time) Library Books (new and replacement) Buses for 1 Field trip for each grade ($3000) Multi-Arts Classes ($1500) Pleasant Valley-1 room school house trip for 3rd graders Outdoor Classroom upkeep Outdoor Day - May - (day for all kids to spend outside with groups from OSU and around the community) Science Night January (evening filled with hands-on science experiments for all families) 5th grade graduation party/trip/lunch ($1000) $50 reimbursement for each teacher to buy items for their class Other items requested by individual teachers for class projects (range from $100-500 each) Teacher Appreciation Lunches/Birthday recognition Book Fair Open House Night (pizza, etc.) Scholarships (for field trip costs, etc for those that cannot afford it) Visiting Authors assemblies Running Club Art and Music programs by Area Professionals Yearbooks Super Kids Day and Gym Equipment Future Requests from Mr. Blake and teachers for Big Projects with this years fundraisers: Water Fountain on South Playground Shade Tarps on South Playground Ticket to Read Program for the school Mobile Computer Lab (25 Chromebooks on carts)
