소개

미주한인봉사교육단체협의회(

NAKASEC

, 이하 미교협)는 전국적인 사회 변화 운동 건설이라는 목표의 일환으로 코리안 아메리칸의 삶의 질 향상과 정치력 신장을 위해 노력하는 지역 커뮤니티 센터에 의해 1994년에 설립되었습니다.미교협과 가입단체들은 전체적인 정치력 신장모델로나아갈 수 있도록 강고하고 독창적인 네트워크를 형성했습니다. 이에 가입단체들은 커뮤니티 구성원들의 인간적이고 정치적인 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 교육, 봉사, 문화, 사회참여, 조직에 관련한 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다. 이러한 가입단체들의 활동과 함께 미교협은 견고하고 세련된 정책 목표를 개발하고, 관련 교육자료를 제작하며, 전국적인 전략 수립에 참여함으로써전국적 풀뿌리 캠페인을 조직하여 지역 단체들이 지도력을 발휘하여 캠페인을 진행할 수 있도록 지도, 지원하고 있습니다. 이민자 권익 옹호 프로젝트, 시민사회참여 & 유권자 정치력 강화 프로젝트를 주요 프로그램으로 하며, 의료 권익, 민권, 재정 교육에 관해서도 적극적인 활동을 펼치고 있습니다.또한 미교협은
