Can anyone tell me about Jelsi's puppies as me and my boyfriend are in the process of purchasing one. I was very reluctant and scared of scams so I did a little research. We were planning on buy a freedom bulldog (french bulldog crossed with a boston terrier). Any information would be greatly appreciated...........

do NOT purchase any puppies from Teena cunningham 488-polk 117 in Mena, arkansas. She took over a month to send me the dog. When it came, it had ticks and fleas, weighed 3 times what she said it would, and the coloring of the maltese puppy wasn't a pure white, it was more yellow than anything. She also said that it had papers. They never came. This woman is a very good scam artist or I was stupid and trusting. Perhaps it was both

Do not buy puppies from the breeder listed above Margaret Friedrichs, 928 6th Road, Herkimer, KS. She sells her dogs to brokers who in turn sells them to pet shops. She is also affiliated with Backporch Farms and Megabrooke Farm also located in Herkimer, KS. These people are puppy farmers and will sell you a sick dog. Do not buy dogs from the Friedrichs!

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. The Hornings in New York breed unhealthy pups and attend puppy auctions which are cruel and inhumane. Most breeders above are running puppy mills. If you choose to purchase a pure bred pup- visit a home with a breeder who CARES about the puppies. Make sure you can meet the mom and dad. Or consider your local SPCA. I learned the hard way- and am now paying thousands of dollars because my pup is a result of over breeding. Do not believe the pet shops when they say the puppies are from safe local breeders- those local breeders ARE puppy mills. No caring breeder would sell their puppies to a pet shop- they would only deal directly with the person and want to know they are going to a safe home. Don't be fooled- it will cost you!!!!
