DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

THE DOORS ARE OPEN

There is a story about four people named: Everybody Somebody Anybody Nobody

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but Nobody did. Somebody got angry about this, because it was Everybodys job

Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldnt do it It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

Now the Lord had said to Abram:Get out of your country, From your family And from your fathers house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Gen.12:1-5

Three things were going to happen in this TRANSITIONING of Abram

1. RE-positioning: a new place 2. RE-naming A new identity: As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. Gen.17:4-5

3. RE-tooling: a new gifting. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Gen.17:6-7

We all must transition through this same process. We must cross over individually and corporately. These shifts in the spirit realm require that you and I see what God is bringing to a close (clear endings) in order to embrace where God is taking you (new beginnings)

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Cor.13:11 Two key words here for us:
1. became-- come into being 2. put away make no effect

Your childhood represents your pastALL of it, good and bad, the sum of your experiences These experiences have a strong gravitational pull on you that try to keep to stuck in your past. The Gospel is the message that a man called Jesus came from another realm to break the

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Ro.6:5-7

The cross deals with your past The resurrection your future But what about my PRESENT! That depends which gravitational pull you yield to.

You put away past by a CLEAR vision of your future! Without a CLEAR vision of your future the gravitational pull of your past will overwhelm your future. (Pr.29:18)

God showed Abraham his FACE in the future Jer.29:11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope. (GW) God always shows our face framed in His future. Thats why dreams and visions are so

Did Abraham struggle with this pull? In Gen. 15 is important for us as a church and YOU as an individual. Here we see the frustration and the fruitlessness of Abraham coming outthe pull He laments in a cry of desperation You have given me no heir

But then God brings him out of his tent doorAYIN DALETyear of the tent door:5774 God is calling you out of the place of confinement Out of your isolation Out of your limitation

Look UP! He gives him the SAME word he gave him years earlier. It just wasnt in season. NOW is the time this is YOUR season! God has YOUR face in the future and the way to break free from the pull of your past is to SEE your self NOW in the FUTURE!
