The request to be equipped with Stun Guns, commonly called "TASERS", [s 2 justified request and would actually increase safety for both the officers and the majority of concert attendees who do not get intoxicated and unruly. The New York State Troopers PBA believes that stun guns, operated by professionally trained law enforcement officers following strict guidelines, are effective and safe and 2 crucial element of the “force continuum’ that helps law enforcement officers do their job with the least amount of force.
