Oh! How He Loves!

As I look back over this last month, I'm awed and amazed at all the blessings. To count them one by one would take a LONG time, but I'll try nonetheless. This month allowed me time and fellowship with a team from my home church, a woman's conference in Mozambique, an exciting three-day journey to South Africa, the blessing of spending my birthday with friends and sharks, a life changing leaders conference in Cape Town, a new computer, and just at out gobs and gobs of hugs, prayer, and fellowship --of which I was in serious need! There were trials and testings as well, of course. I got malaria, my old computer died a slow and painful death taking many documents and precious photos with it, my eyes were opened to police corruption in both Mozambique and South Africa, and my teeth problems are still unresolved. Nevertheless, I rejoice. I rejoice! I rejoice! For my God loves with abandon, showing me how I must love others. He models humility, teaching me how to serve others unto death. He guides with gentleness, leaving me no place to be worried or anxious. Oh! What an awesome God we serve! Oh! How He loves! Oh! How He blesses! Oh! How He serves! I cannot help but shout for JOY! I cannot help but sing out... My God is LOVE! My prayer for each of you... is that you would taste and see His lovingkindness like never before today. And that you would be forever ruined for the ordinary Love,

Stephanie

Maforga Womans Conference 2013!

A beautiful and gifted team from Calvary Chapel Mesquite, NV came to visit me and put together a wonderful woman's conference for the women of Maforga and the surrounding areas.
The one day conference included fresh music from Beady Long and Anita Burton (who learned it in Portuguese!), vibrant singing and dancing from orphans of all ages, a craft, solid teaching and translation from the mission team and key Mozambican helpers, and a messy-but-tasty meal of seasoned rice and sauteed goat's meat.
And naturally... we ate with our hands! ---- Fun! Fun! Fun! Thank you CCM for your faithfulness to come... and your love for the Mozambican people. I cannot wait to see you all again soon! Other Highlights of the Mission Team: Visiting the Maforga school & orphanage. Donating medical supplies to a handicapped ministry & visiting the village. Ministering with the AIDS ministry. Worship & Prayer with the Maforga team.
