Description
The Interzone Poets were a group of four Illinois poets from the western suburbs of Chicago who appeared at various open mics in the area.
The booklets were intended to make available, and to help promote, the poems read at each event. Each issue contained a new set of poems and were as unique as the reading. They were always free for everyone in attendance.
The founders, and core participants of the group, were Anne M. Kelly (Geneva), Bill Roberston (Sandwich), Nicole Manisco (St. Charles), and Jason Sturner (Geneva). The group disbanded in 2006 but reformed for one night on January 12, 2008 (see issue #5).
