These instructions will enable you to get your 
Linksys WVC54GCA IP camera
setup with your EyeSpy247 account to enable monitoring, recording and alerts. Wesuggest you get the basics working using this guide and then fine tune camera andEyeSpy247 functions later.
TIP:
We suggest you use one browser window for setting up the camera and openanother browser window (or tab) for your EyeSpy247 account panel. Having theseside by side will make it easier for you to set up and test.1) Sign up for your Free EyeSpy247 account atwww.eyespy247.com2) Set up your IP camera as per the instructions set out in the manufacturersmanual remembering to make
careful note of the login details for the camera
as you will need these later.You should also at this point have at hand the fixed IP address (if you have one)provided by your ISP or if you have a dynamic IP address set up a Hostname withthe DDNS provided recommended by your camera maker (see the Linksysmanual for details).
EITHER OF THESE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE!

3)Now login to your EyeSpy247 account and click on
Camera Management
andthen click
add
under Camera Servers to add the camera to your account.4)Complete all the fields ensuring very close attention is placed on entering the
Hostname*
and
Port
number. If you get these wrong our systems will not be ableto connect to your camera. See below for more on where you will find thisinformation.
*The
Hostname
will either be an IP address (if you have a fixed one from your ISP) or if you have a dynamic IP address you should set up a
Hostname
(e.g. John.dyndns.org)using the DDNS service recommended by the camera (see the Linksys manual for details).

5)To get the Port number click
Setup
then
Options
and then
Enable
next to
Alternate Web Access Port
(should be 1024 by default). Click
Apply
.6)Now go back to your EyeSpy247 account panel, complete the details (step 4above) and when you are ready click
Save and Test
. In a few seconds the pageshould return a test image from your camera to confirm successful set up.
If the above test did not work go back and check the details against the informationin your camera and also ensure that the camera has registered on your router correctly as sometimes port forwarding may need to be updated manually on some routers.
