Marc LeClair, LLB
Marc LeClair is a Metis lawyer who was born in St. Lazare Manitoba. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1989. He currently works asBilateral Negotiations Coordinator for the Metis National Council and represents them incourt on various legal issues. He previously worked as MNC’s chief administrativeofficer.For over 20 years, he has worked on issues of importance to the Metis people. He has alsoworked with Aboriginal organizations and federal departments that are responsible for education, human resource development, procurement and economic development.Marc is the President of Quebec based, LeClair Infocom Inc., a business, public policyand management consulting firm. Infocom describes itself as: “leaders in developinginnovative consultative graphics and tools for use in the aboriginal community. The firmis the Canadian leader in the development of interactive presentation tools and in thedevelopment of Aboriginal focused portal tools (content management systems).
