Greetings and salutations; good wishes to you, my friends and neighbors. I am Doctor Tarrec, your guide and host as we travel into the realm of the future. You are reading this volume because you want to know more about future events. You are not content with the temporally constrictive confines of your normal daily life, living from one moment in time to the next to the next in an unbreakable linear, sequential order. You know, even if its only deep within your unconscious yearnings, you know that there is more than this. You have the scholars curiosity and the mystics intuition about the eternal questions: What will happen tomorrow? What does the future hold for me? and How does my history affect the flow of my future? You are not like other people. You are different. While others around you live lives of routine and habit, you long to move dynamically through time. You probably find yourself quivering with wonder as you look up at the stars of heaven. This is because you are alive fully alive and awake to the numinous nature of time. So come with me; read the pages of this book and I will show you just how full and rich time really is.

Darkness Descends Darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt. Exodus 10:21 There are some among us, perhaps, who will still remember the Dark Day of 1780, though admittedly their numbers are much declined in recent years. It was May 19th of that year when a remarkable darkness fell over much of New England. In some places a person could not see to read common print in the open air for several hours together. Birds in mid morning sang their evening song, disappeared, and became silent; fowls went early to roost; cattle sought the comfort of the barn-yard; and candles were lighted in the houses and homes of the people. The obscuration of the sun began about ten oclock in the morning and continued on till the middle of the next night, but with differences of degree and duration in different places. For several days previous the wind had been variable, but chiefly from the southwest and the northeast. The true cause of this remarkable phenomenon is not generally or popularly understood. A horror like the night in the Twilight of the Gods, when the low-hung sky, black rimmed with clouds, was fringed with a dull orange glow from light which climbs up from the red hell below. Devout men made more fervent their pious prayers, while anxious women wept, lamentations filled the air. They heard the trumpet blasts of doom and then the empty silence of the tomb. Read and consider this, the true testimony of one who lived through those days and spoke of his experiences afterwards: I was suddenly awakened from my sleep by the most distressing cries that ever fell on my ears. Shrieks of horror and cries for mercy could be heard from most of the village. While earnestly and breathlessly listening for the cause, I heard a faint voice near the door calling my name. I arose, and taking my sword, stood at the door. At this moment I heard the same voice still beseeching me to rise, and saying, O my God! The world is on fire! But it is remarkable how flippantly many smaller minds in our day have dismissed this testimony, and that of many other individuals as well, as folk-story and superstitious legend or as an event of mere natural causes, as they say. Those who lived at the time, and had at least as good an opportunity to mark all its strange features and unnatural manifestations as people of the present time, were filled with awe at the occurrence, and for years afterward, so long as those who saw it have survived, have been unable to explain it. But their degenerate descendants, the wondrously wise generation of the present living more than two hundred years from the time of its occurrence, and having never seen anything of the kind for themselves - assume to explain it with all the ease and nonchalance with which they would tell us that two and two make four. Viewed from one point, it is very strange that people can overlook considerations of this nature which are so decisive upon this discussion; but from another it is not. What a man doesnt want to see, he can very easily keep from seeing. But we apprehend that the lack both of inclination and ability is accounted for by the prophet Daniel when he said, The wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall

understand. Indeed, there seems to be a general lack of understanding in our wicked and depraved generation. The men of our age are willfully ignorant and stubbornly so. But the fact remains: many of the prophets of old spoke warnings of these present days of darkness. From Joel to Hezekiah the men of God declared the solemn word of the Lord and described the coming of these times. And yet the majority of men long ago refused and still today refuses -to heed the warnings of the prophets. They simply do not want to understand. Their eyes have been closed and their ears have been stopped up, for seeing, they might have believed and hearing they might have repented. All this has happened to fulfill the word of the Lord. But, you my friend, my good neighbor, I would that you understand these things. These are perilous times. Much is at stake. It is important that you should know the truth about our future. Our minds have been readied by study and are now prepared to turn towards the future. From looking at the past, and beholding the prophecies that have already been fulfilled, we are now called to look at events of the future, which are no less sure to occur. We stand at the very precipice of catastrophe, waiting for the heavens to depart like a scroll when it is rolled together. These are times of unparalleled solemnity and importance; for we know not exactly how near we may be to the fulfillment of all things. That day of Great Darkness in 1780 was but one in a series of increasingly frequent solar disturbances; disturbances that will continue to continue to increase in both frequency and duration until the very end, when at long last our sun, the source of our light and of our very life, will be forever extinguished. Snuffed out on that great and terrible day of the Lord. You may already be aware of the dangers posed to our modern telecommunication systems by solar flares. These are caused by magnetic storms on the sun sunspots that violently erupt in solar flares, ejecting fiery streams of subatomic particles, plasma, cosmic rays, x-rays, and gamma rays into space. These particles hurtle towards Earth and are attracted towards the north and south magnetic poles. As they spiral down towards the planets surface they ionize the oxygen and nitrogen gases of our atmosphere, causing the skies to glow in beautiful displays of light in the night sky called Aurorae - the Northern or Southern Lights. Those haunting flashes of green and gold and pink and orange in the night skies are the result of enormous eruptions on the surface of the sun. But these majestic lights in the sky above us are more than mere interplanetary light shows. Like ravens cawing before a hanging of a condemned criminal, these aurorae are cosmic heralds of a coming all encompassing gloam. The great and terrible day of Darkness, spoken of by the biblical prophets, the day of darkness that will envelop the whole world is soon upon us. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled For thus has the lord spoken, thus has the lord said. The whole land shall be desolate. In that time there will be no stars in the black night. The constellations of the sky will have fallen down. There will be no sun in the daylight. It will be as if it has been imprisoned, chained to the ground, never to rise and never to shine again.

And you may ask yourself: wellwhat is it that causes these inexplicable days of unnatural darkness? What force has set in motion the events that will snuff out our sun and leave our beautiful planet void and extinct of life? Is it a natural force? Is it some part of cosmic activity that we do not or cannot fully comprehend, even with our vast knowledge? Is it, perhaps, some extraterrestrial intelligence? Are there beings from some distant galaxy that have nefarious designs for our solar system? These and other explanations have been proffered by professors and scholars at various times. In our own recent past Immanuel Velikovsky proposed that it was periodic close contacts between the planet Earth and a cometary Venus (ejected from the gaseous Jovian giant, Jupiter and sent screaming through the cosmos) that caused the great plagues of Egypt and the Exodus events described in the Hebrew portions of the bible - including the day of deep darkness that fell over the whole land of the Nile and Joshua's subsequent "long day" as the sun held its place in the sky overhead as the children of Israel entered the promised land. But as catastrophic as cosmic events such as these might have been, they were still only natural events; natural events writ large, of course, and with a nearly incomprehensible magnitude of impact but still, these were merely natural events, enacted without malice or morality. The planets continue to spin in their orbits without thought or concern for us inhabitants of the planet we call Earth. The hidden truth of this, however, is that these events - these increasingly frequent dark days in our own time, and the impeding extinguishing of our sun are not like these former, natural events. The days of darkness and the other various signs seen in the heavens are, in fact, part of a violent and anarchic war between rebellious and malevolent angelic forces and God himself. We pitiful creatures of the earth are caught in the middle, like innocent bystanders, in the crossfire. We are innocents trapped between two warring forces. The denizens of heaven have initiated a civil war against the high king of heaven and the earth and our solar system have become the battleground for this great conflict. Angles and UFOs Despite the numerous Close Encounters with alien life forms that are reported in our newspapers and on television, it is not extraterrestrial biological entities that have been visiting our planet. And though these UFOs are not piloted by so-called little green men, the reports of UFO activity coming from all corners of our planet are not all hoaxes or the drunken delusions of backwater yokels. The unidentified flying objects that have been seen in the skies over every continent and country may be unidentified but they are not alien. They are angelic vehicles armored war machines - created for their assault on the heavenly kingdom. Many members of our government have known about this for years and kept their silence. Some others, a troublesome minority, have discovered the truth behind the official lies and have attempted to warn us, but in every case they have been silenced. Some have been threatened with violence. Others have been driven insane. And still others have simply vanished, all traces of their former existence sponged away and forgotten. President Gerald R.
