The Writings of Jane Lea

The First Resurrection in Christ
Dear Reader,It is mentioned in the Preface to The Wars of David that at the timeshe wrote, Jane Lead’s writings were not well received in hernative land of England. The writer of the Preface even went so faras to call them an “adulterous nation.” And as the United Stateswas originally a part of England, it is to be wondered if God hasdelayed the translation of
The First Resurrection
into English, untilsuch time as we remove the stumbling block, and hear thismessage with an open heart. Otherwise, why would the Lord keepit from us for 300 years? Is it possible that the discovery of the original English version (orits translation back into English) might in some way be a “signal”to God’s chosen ones, indicating that the time of Christ is at hand? But we cannot force God’s hand. We cannot push for the discoveryor translation sooner than God will allow. And so we do not
seek
someone to translate—we wait upon the Lord to
send
someone. If an original English version exists, let us pray that the Lord willplace it in our hands once again. However if the original is indeedforever lost or destroyed, then let us pray that He will raise up afaithful soul, who is walking in the Light and Love of Christ Jesus, who is familiar with the writings of Jane Lead, and who knows andunderstands Old German Script.Yes, let the Lord Himself raise up such an one who can translateHis Word back into English!Diane GuerreroEmail:diane@janelead.orgWeb:www.janelead.org
