Ephesians 1:1Colossians 1:1
1:21:21:31:41:51:61:71:8who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.1:31:43:121:51:191:61:201:71:241:81:25which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,1:91:261:101:271:11Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints whoare in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothyour brother,Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord JesusChrist. To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse:Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord JesusChrist. We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in Heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day youheard and knew the grace of God in truth;as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, whois a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places inChrist, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that weshould be holy and without blame before Him in love,Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; In love having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ toHimself, according to the good pleasure of His will,For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness shoulddwell,to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made usaccepted in the Beloved.and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on Earth or things in Heaven, having made peace throughthe blood of His cross. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His graceI now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my fleshwhat is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,of which I became a minister according to the stewardship fromGod which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to Hisgood pleasure which He purposed in Himself, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and fromgenerations, but now has been revealed to His saints.that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in Heaven andwhich are on Earth-- in Him.To them God willed to make known what are the riches of theglory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you,the hope of glory. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinedaccording to the purpose of Him who works all things according tothe counsel of His will,

Ephesians 2:1
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,2:21:232:31:282:41:292:5Colossians 3:12:63:2Set your mind on things above, not on things on the Earth.that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the Gospelof your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealedwith the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming thetime.that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give toyou the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, thatyou may know how you ought to answer each one.the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may knowwhat is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of Hisinheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead andseated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He mayhave the preeminence.far above all principality and power and might and dominion, andevery name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which isto come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principalityand power.in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who nowworks in the sons of disobedience,if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, andare not moved away from the hope of the Gospel which youheard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were bynature children of wrath, just as the others.Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man inall wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in ChristJesus. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with whichHe loved us,To this end I also labor, striving according to His workingwhich works in me mightily.even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together withChrist (by grace you have been saved),If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which areabove, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

2:73:3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.2:81:92:91:10not of works, lest anyone should boast.1:112:101:122:112:122:132:112:142:122:152:132:142:152:162:172:18For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.2:19that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of Hisgrace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not ceaseto pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with theknowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritualunderstanding;that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, beingfruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakersof the inheritance of the saints in the light. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision madewithout hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised withHim through faith in the working of God, who raised Him fromthe dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcisionof your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, havingforgiven you all trespasses,Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh-- who arecalled Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in theflesh by hands--having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that wasagainst us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from thecommonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a publicspectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been broughtnear by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has brokendown the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through thecross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
