. You might also hear terms like (tesol) Tesol is
teaching English to speakers of other languages
.In reality, tefl and tesol are the same thing. In the U.K they refer to the certificate as tefl whilst in theU.S it's referred to as tesol. The terms tend to be used interchangeably.
