. Ensure you have a Gmailaccount. These accounts arefree and will give you accessto lots of cool Google tools!From google.com, click onGmail and sign-up for a newaccount
 
2. Once you have aGoogle/Gmail account, go toblogger.com and sign-inwith your Google/Gmailaccount. Once you aresigned-in, you will be readyto create your blog!3. You should be directed tostep 1. Your gmail addressand name should appear.You will be prompted tochoose a display name. Thisis the name that will appearto your peers when youleave comments on the classblog and their blogs! Don’tforget to accept the terms of service.4. Now you will choose thename and web address (url)of your blog.Blog Title: Choose acreative name, but includethe name of your Regionand School in the title. Alltitles are to be appropriate!Blog address: This is howothers will find your blogonline. Pick something thatis relevant to the function of the blog or use your Gmailusername (easier toremember). You may haveto try a few addresses if oneyou want is already taken.

Next, you will choose atemplate for your blog.These are designs for howyour blog will look to yourclassmates and to the public.Not only can you previewthe templates, you can alsochange them later if you donot like the way your bloglooks!6. Hopefully, you should bepromted that your blog hasbeen created! The next stepis to start posting. Click thestart posting arrow and youare ready to insert your firstpost.7. What you should see isthe Blogger symbol followedby your blog title.The posting tab should beactive.There should be a title fieldThere should also be anarea to place your text.The title of every one of your posts should have theword Journal with anumber. For example,Journal 1. The onlyexception will be your introletter , which will be titled,“Intro Letter of . . .followedby your name.You can simply begin typingyour entries whenever youare ready.You can also add picturesby choosing the picture iconand uploading a picture thatyou would like to add toyour post.
