Por Que no deberamos aceptar un Partido Pirata en el peru?

Mis palabras se pueden leer bastante feas, pero aqu en peru para dar el mensaje pirata a la gente existen muchas consideraciones a tomar en cuenta. Combatir la realidad peruana no es lo mismo que combatir la europea, aun conociendo los altos niveles de corrupcin de algunos de sus partidos. Pero por que no debemos aceptar un partido pirata en el peru? 1. Por esa palabra: Partido. La delgada linea que separa a una cuestionada ONG de un partido poltico yace en como maneja el motivo de su existencia. Una ONG todava tiene cierta posibilidad de hacer valer lo que es si en la practica hace cumplir sus metas (polticas o no); un partido poltico en cambio, siempre tendr objetivos polticos, sean buenos o malos. Y los malos ejemplos abundan, quienes fuera del gobierno fueron luchadores se vuelven traidores una vez que se ponen la banda. Es un ciclo muy conocido. 2. Porque no puedes arreglar algo si eres parte del problema. Deduciendo del primer problema, tan solo siendo parte un partido poltico ya tienes ese estigma, no importa que tan joven o innovadora sea la gente que metas en un potencial partido pirata; eres un partido mas en el peru y por lo tanto, aceptas jugar con las mismas reglas y trampas que ellos. No se puede resolver un problema siendo parte de el, quien ignora estos factores solo esta aceptando una farsa. 3. Porque en la red nuestra bandera es otra. En la red uno es internauta, pero fuera de ella uno es rojo, otro azul; uno es cristiano, otro ateo; uno es peruano, otro es cosmopolita y otro escptico. Si juntas a todos ellos en un partido, esas diferencias sern aprovechadas por otros para dividirlos, ademas que abogar por algo global puede ser peligroso de enfrentar si tienes falsa propaganda nacionalista fuera del hemiciclo. 4. Porque existen otras formas de ayudar. Tambin deduciendo de lo primero, los potenciales "piratas" que quieran dar cuerda a ese movimiento aqu, debern hacerlo desde fuera del congreso, con nosotros, con la gente. En la cancha como decimos aqu. Tenemos un sistema poltico defectuoso, reguladores inservibles y gente desesperanzada sufriendo por esa desconexion. Culturizar sobre la importancia de los derechos digitales para la gente y los negocios (porque ellos tambin son victimas) es una prioridad que no necesita un partido poltico, necesita un compromiso de proveer soluciones y enfrentar el sinsentido en el cual se ha convertido nuestra realidad digital. Desde el acceso hasta los medios de pago; desde la neutralidad y la red hasta los derechos de copia. Pero nuestro cncer no solo reside en el gobierno, buena parte del tumor descansa en el sector privado y la falacia del libre mercado, usada frecuentemente cuando sus amenazas a la libertad estan por venirse abajo (aka 'quieren ahuyentar las inversiones'). Aqu hay mucho trabajo por hacer, pero no podemos tomar la receta de otros pases, aun si esta tuvo xito fuera de aqu.

Why we never should accept a Pirate Party in Peru? My words can be read too nasty, but here in Peru to bring the 'pirate' message to people exists a lot of considerations to be taken in mind. Facing the Peruvian situation is not the same than facing it in Europe, even knowing the high level of corruption from some parties. But why we shouldn't accept a Pirate Party in Peru? 1. By that word: Party. The thin line between a political party of a disputed NGO is how it manages the core of it's existence. An NGO still have chances to highlight itself if in practice that NGO try to enforce it's goals (political or not); a political party in the other hand, always have political goals, whether good or bad. And bad examples abounds, who outside of government was social fighters become traitors once they put the band. Is a known cycle. 2. Because you can't fix something if you are part of the problem. Deducting from the first issue, just being part from a political party you already have that stigma. No matter how young or innovator are your people on that potential Pirate Party, you are one more in Peru and as result, you and your party accepted to play with the same rules and tricks than the others. Repeating, you can't solve a problem being part of it, who skip that factors is just accepting a scam. 3. Because on the net our flag is other. On the net we are netizens, but outside we can be red or blue, catholic or atheist, peruvian, cosmopolitan or skeptical. If you put all them on a party, that differences will be the target from other (and unethical) parties to merge them. And advocating for a global idea is dangerous to face when you meet the pseudo-nationalist propaganda outside congress. 4. Because exists other ways to aid. Also deducting from first issue, all potential 'pirates' that want to push the movement here should work it outside from congress, with us. On the ground as we said here. We have a very defective political system, useless regulators and hopeless people suffering that disconnection. Acculturating them about how important are the digital rights for people and business (because they are victims too) is a priority that don't need a political party, needs an engagement to provide solutions and face the nonsense which our digital reality was turned out. From access to payments, from net neutrality to copy rights. But our cancer is not only on the government, the largest part of the tumor places on the private sector and the fallacy of the free market, used often when their threats against freedom are about to collapse (aka 'They want to drive away the investments'). Here we have a lot of work to do, but we can't take the same recipe from other countries, even if it had success outside here.
