Lets Get Crafty For Autumn....... A HedgeWitch's Harvest Centerpiece

Posted by Harobed

In my home I like my things to serve many purposes. So when I set my hand to crafting something for an Alter or a table I stay true to my nature.I love the Autumn season .With its chillier nights ,colors and smells ,you can feel the witchy energy flowing.I created this centerpiece to grace a home and honor Mabon,Samhain and the Autumn season. It measures 15" across and is 12" in height so it needs space . Lol you cant really see this but its made in a shallow leaf shaped basket that has legs so the arrangment sits about 2 inchs off the table.Dried flowers are fragile so theyre safer cradled in the basket a few inches above it all.

I started by gluing a 6 inch wreath form into the bottom of the basket so my arrangment was secure. This gave me a frame to work with and something to hold my candle vase securely in place once it was finished . Im honoring second harvest , third harvest ,along with Autumn and Thanksgiving , what a task! It needs to invoke all the magics of those special days and blend with the changing themes that come with them. Only the best blossoms from my garden will do for this! So out come my boxes ,bundles and bags ,the search is on. After a frenzy of pulling in boxs my choices were finally made ........ Oak leaves were first on as the bottom layer . (because the leaves are large & sturdy) Then came big drifts of Hydrangea . The next "layer "was Lavender , Golden Rod ,Moss and Yarrow, these filled in the spaces and looked great while lending their powers to my mix.

I topped it off with fragrant heads of Basil .(to appease the fairies) Roses of all colors, Echinacea cones and the star like seed pods of Columbine.Yumm it smells divine!

To light this candle is to invoke happiness, comfort, love, protection and abundance. Not to mention how happy you make the fairies .And face it your headed into Samhain with fairies in the house you want them happy! So at last the basket is finished and my livingroom is a wreck! But my centerpiece ....Tis perfect for a Mabon /Samhain alter and makes a lovely centerpiece for the holiday table ;) Basil exorcism, love, protection, prosperity, wealth Columbine courage, love Goldenrod prosperity, money, divination Hydrangea invokes magic ,breaks hexes Moss luck, money Oak protection, health, money, healing, potency, fertility, luck Yarrow healing, divination, exorcism, protection, courage, love, psychic powers Rose beauty, protection, purification, love, psychic powers, healing, divination, peace Lavender protection, call in good spirits, love, sleep, longevity, purification, happiness, peace, healing

Light youre love for others

Posted by bunny

Today I wanted to post about kids, because I am seeing their young faces on news, I am reading about them in the newspaper, I am grieving their end of life. And for those who still remain... I want to lift them up, I want to shine love and light on them trapped in their darkness , those who feel lost in their life, those who feel worthless and less. today I talk about them and ask you to do the same to hold space for the young people in our country and in our community. those who are struggling .......hold space for them , a space of love, light and hope that they matter. that they are important ,that they will not always feel this small. there stories are close to my heart they have been stories in my personal life too and some of those I hold dear..... If you see someone doing something "to get attention" BELIEVE THEM !, Do not ignore them. do not dismiss them, do not turn away from them. Please..engage with them, reach out to them , look at them..and really see them and when you do, let them know that you see them. We cannot stop someone from taking their life We can not stop someone from harming themselves We cannot stop someone from thinking they are less BUT We can tell them what they mean to us We can tell them we will miss them if they go We can tell them what it will be like to be left behind with them in our lives We can tell them how we feel about them... over and over and over again this we can do. we can be a light of love for others. hugssss

Time
Posted by Sunshine-Chayenna
Time can feel so short, or long When we lost our hope and faith And sometimes, Any of us feel stuck, In the timeline of the moment We can felt alone, By somebody we care or loved. But never forget You are not ignored by everyone There will be always somebody Who take care of you Who love you unconditionally. It might come with the smile of a little child It might come with a sunray that shine on your face. It can be everyone, you meet in the moment And this Earth Angel Will always show you How you can find your own light again This Earth Angel Will show you with his actions That you never be alone For a short time he take your hand And walk with you on the Journey of life Nobody is alone in the universe Nobody walk alone on earth Their will be always an Earth Angel around you That helps you to make your new step That helps you to walk a new path That helps you to find your hope and faith again. Sabbat Herbs for the 8 Pagan Holidays

Posted by Whispr
The following herbal correspondences are arranged so that you can choose the proper plant materials for use as incense, oils or fresh flowers and herbs in your Sabbat ritual workings. This list is by no means all inclusive. Many other herbs are associated with the sabbats, but this will at least give a general idea of what plants are traditionally used for the 8 Pagan Holidays. Yule: December 21 or 22 YULETIDE This is the wonderful celebration of the re-birth of the Sun God. The time when we spiritually and physically aid the Goddess is giving birth to her Consort. We decorate and burn our Yule Logs and hope that our dreams and desires for the future will come to fruition, we dance our Spiral Dance around our altars and concentrate on sending our energies to the Goddess as She goes through the process of labor and delivery. It is the day when all is born anew and begins, quietly, to grow and flourish again. BLESSED THISTLE--is taken by the priest in the ritual cup to invoke the newly born Sun God. CHAMOMILE--symbolizes the Sun God and is cast into the Circle as well as used to actually cast the Circle. It is used in the incense and ritual cup. It is good to use in the Ritual Bath prior to the ceremony. EVERGREEN--any type will do, they are hung everywhere at this time of year in the home and about the Circle. The needles make excellent incense. FRANKINCENSE--is the best incense for this ritual. HOLLY--is used along with evergreen to decorate the home and the Circle. It is a sacred herb of the Druids, in the manner of bringing it into the home one is said to also be bringing in the Little people thereby offering them shelter and safety from the harshness of winter. MISTLETOE--is added to the incense and hung in the doorways to fill the home with extra love and kisses at this time of year. Each person attending the ritual should toss a mistletoe berry into the fire to represent the things personal to them that they desires to grow and increase in strength as the Sun God grows.

PINE--the Christmas tree is OURS people! Go ahead and put up a big one! Decorate it with popcorn, cranberries, pagan symbols, witchballs, lights, mirrors and whatever else you want. SAGE--is used in the ritual cup Apple, Ash, Bay, Cedar, Cinnamon, Ivy, Juniper, Lemons, Nutmeg, Oak, Orange, Pine, Rosemary, Thistle and Yew. Imbolc: February 2 This time is known by some as the "Feast of the Waxing Light" it is the time of year that we are beginning to notice the Sun Gods growth in that the days are becoming longer. This, like May Day/Beltane, is another pagan holiday which has survived into the current time, now it is celebrated as Ground Hog Day. ANGELICA--is best in the ritual cup. In this manner is considered to bring one in contact with the inhabitants of Atlantis and to bring Atlantean energies into their lives, visions and understanding. BASIL--this is the traditional time of year for initiations and the initiate should have been taking daily tonics of basil for at least the last two weeks. It is given now to prepare the innerself for initiation to bring fortitude. BAY--if the ritual is to be a solemn occasion then it is appropriate to chew one or two (no more than that!) Leaves and meditate upon the growing light and Sun God. BENZOIN--is used in the incense. CELANDINE--is used in the ritual cup and tossed into the fire. HEATHER--is used to decorate the entire space. MYRRH--is used in the ritual cup and/or incense. Blackberry, Cinnamon, Coltsfoot, Frankincense, Mace, Rosemary, Rowan, Snowdrop, Tansy and Violet. Ostara: March 21 or 22 EOSTRE This is the time of the year when the Sun moves into 0 degrees Ares. Traditionally it is a season of birth and rebirth of resurrection following the long winter. The time when the Pagan Sun God begins to makes to make it known that He is well on His way from going from the Sun Babe to the Sun Prince.

ACORNS---may be planted as part of the festival/celebration. It should have been gathered the previous year and is symbolic of life renewing itself. While planting concentrate on those attributes which you already possess and would like to see become stronger in yourself. BULBS--Any type, daffodils, crocus, tulips, what-have-you are very appropriate for altar decorations and for planting at this time. CELANDINE--should be included into the ritual cup. It may also be tossed into the ritual fire during the celebration. CINQUEFOIL--add some of this to your incense. It should have been gathered either under the light of the full moon or at mid-night as the day changes between Wednesday to Thursday under a waxing moon. It brings a sense of communication and awareness to the ritual and when burned as incense will bring friends closer and is said to bring dreams of one's perfect partner. DOGWOOD--the flowers will bring beauty to your altar and the dried bark may be ground and added to the incense. It is one of those beautiful and voluptuous symbols of spring. HONEYSUCKLE--grace the perimeter of the Sacred Circle. It is an herb of Immortality and represents the ever constant cycle of life renewing itself. IRIS--the ground root is added to the incense mixture. It has long been held as a Religious Herb and is named for the deity who leads the souls to the Elysian Fields. In Egyptian lore the Iris is noted as having been carved upon the head of a magickal want to represent the scepter of the pharaoh. It was though the three petals represented the virtues of faith, wisdom and valor. JASMINE--may be added to the ritual cup and/or used as incense. It is most often associated with t he Goddesses and is considered sacred to Diana of Ephesus, in later years it was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is sacred to Quan Yin. It is related to the female/maternal aspects of the universe. ROSE--Yellow are most appropriate but any color will do, they should adorn the altar. The rose is the most sacred symbol of Aphrodite and represent beauty in its purest aspect. SEEDS--any and all seeds you have collected from the previous year should be placed upon the altar so that they may blessed by the Priest and Priestess for spring planting. TANSY--should be baked into the ritual cakes. It is also considered an herb of Immortality and is associated with many Christian festival of Easter. When added to your batter it represents the eternalness of life.

VIOLETS--make beautiful altar decorations. They carry the virtues of modesty, simplicity, serenity and peace. They are a particular source of inspiration and good fortune for women. Violets originate from the nymph Io, daughter of the river god Inachus. She and Zeus developed a romance and when another of Zeus' lovers heard of this she became so jealous that she cast as spell and changed Io into a heifer! In Zeus' great love and compassion for her he changed her into the Violet. Broom, Daffodil, Gorse, Iris, Lavender, Narcissus, Olive, Peony, Sage, Strawberry, and Woodruff. Beltane: May 2 The Sun has now moved into Taurus, the seeds are now planted in the fields. The trees are again turning lush and green, Earth is beginning to bloom all over. It is the night when the pagan Sun-Prince turns into the Sun-God and makes love with the Goddess for the first time that year. His coming of age and their Union will produce the fruitfulness of the fields and the bounty of the harvest to come. ALMONDS--if you have an almond tree (you're very lucky!) Use the flowers to decorate the altar. You may also use some of the ground bark in your incense. Almond has a long history as a Religious herb and if offered as incense in sacrificial rites sacred to Artemis, Hecate and Zeus. It is the source from which Aaron, the high priest of the Hebrews selected his magickal wand. In Greek myth, Phyllis was abandoned by her lover Domophoon and the Gods, unable to bear her grieving over this, transformed her into the Almond. When he came back to her he found only the Almond. It is said that when he feels sufficiently guilty for having left her and he embraces the tree that it then bursts into leaf and bloom. Almond is used to today to capture the essence of love which survives through all strife. CINQUEFOIL--add some to the ritual cup and/or incense. FRANKINCENSE--should be the main ingredient in the incense, all other ingredients are secondary to it. It is primarily considered to be a Religious herb, the Hebrew religion regards it most highly using it often in their rites. It is also part of the Roman Catholic tradition, used in ten parts to four parts benzoin and one part storax. It is used primarily to invoke the Male Aspects of the Universe. The Babylonians used it to invoke their Bel, their Sun God. It is also used to invoke Apollo, Adonis and the Golden Haired Sun God (or Princely Aspect) of the Pagan Sun-God. It is also used to invoke the Feminine Aspects of the Universe, Demeter and various Moon Goddesses such as Diana and Artemis. The fragrance aids in focusing concentration and being aware of all that is happening within the ritual. It also holds as an herb of Protection in that its cleansing and purifying properties are excellent for the soul and spirits, keeping you safe when exploring the astral realms.

Creations

IVY--wreaths should be worn around the heads of all and adorn the altar. It holds the virtue of fidelity and as such was made into wreaths worn by victors and newly married couples by the Greeks. It is a Religious herb sacred to Dionysus and Bacchus. As such, in magickal workings it is said to prevent drunkenness. MARIGOLD PETALS--use these to purify and cleanse the Circle. It is an herb of Consecration and as such is used in rituals to the Goddess. MAYBASKETS--this is not an herb but rather a wonderful tradition. On this night place small baskets of flowers and home made treats upon the doorsteps of your friends. MEADOWSWEET--if you're desiring to do some magickal working of the romantic kind on this night, offer some of these to the Goddess. ROSES--any color are appropriate for decorating the altar or the body WOODRUFF--take this in the cup or (if possible) check out the local liquor store at this time of year and ask if they sell "May Wine". Angelica, Apple, Ash, Calendula, Clover, Hawthorn, Honeysuckle, Lilac, Rose, Rowan, St. John's . Litha: June 21 or 22 Well, we all know it isn't mid-summer at all...not by the present day calender anyway...it is June 21, the beginning of summer but since people of old did not actually count summer as a season, rather a natural progression of spring, it is no longer the middle of the growing season. This is also the longest day of the year. It is also the time of year when we begin to see the first fruits of Beltane form and ripen, the Union of the God and Goddess has been successful and is already beginning to produce that which can be harvested and eaten. CHAMOMILE--is used to invoke the God and will make us aware of the Father of Nature. You may do this by either including in the ritual cup or the incense. CINQUEFOIL--add to the ritual cup and incense. ELDER--stand among the Elder to see the little people and the Faeries. Use the blossom in your ritual but ONLY if your goals are clear and your ethics are pure! It is very powerful and if your intentions are not pure...well...watch out. FENNEL--tie together bunches and hang them around your home, the Circle and/or the altar as it is considered an herb of Protection for the home and family.

HEMP--if you've got some..share with me! This is the night to try out the time honored and very quaint spell of sowing hemp seeds around the church at mid-night. The intended purpose of this has something to do with love...I say something because sources will say doing this will cause you to either...1)dream of your true love and who he/she will be or already is...2)the first person you meet the next day is your true love...3)your true love will come and stand beneath your window while you sleep. Take your pick and let me know the results. In the Pagan/Wiccan religions hemp is an herb of Vision. This does not mean smoke pot all the time, rather that it is reserved for those times of divination alone and for this purpose the fresh juice of the plant should be used rather than smoking a joint. LAVENDER--traditionally this is tossed into the bonfire to ensure a safe year and good harvest. It is also used as the primary ingredient in the incense and may be taken in the ritual cup. It is capable of invoking Hecate and Saturn. It attract energy of an extremely high vibrational nature and is used in meditation before or during the ritual to increase awareness and bring inner calm and freedom from emotional stress. MALE FERN--this is the night when this plant should be gathered. It is one of the most potent magickal Aphrodisiacs. Especially useful in males. MISTLETOE--if you will be wanting this plant for later magickal workings this is the night to gather it. MUGWORT--is used in the ritual bath and the ritual cup (in a small amount). It is an herb of Protection, tossing some into a fireplace of cauldron is said to keep the home safe from lightning, some burnt in the room brings protection to the children. ROSES--adorn the Circle and altar with RED rose petals. Also use some in the incense for the Blessing of the Circle. SAINT JOHN'S WORT--should be gathered upon this night. Stomp on a patch or toss some into the ritual fire to see and commune with the Faery Folk. VERBENA--gather Basil, Carnation, Cinquefoil, Daisy, Dogwood, Elder, Fern, Frankincense, Ivy, Lemon, Lemon Verbena, Oak, Pine, Rose, St. John's Wort, Vervain, Wild Thyme, Wood Betony and Yarrow. Lughnassadh: August 2 Now we begin the cycle of the harvest. The fields have been planted, the fruits have come forth, this is the first of the harvest festivals. It is also the time when the Sun-God slowly begins his downward spiral into Death. The nights are growing longer and although we still toil in the gardens the night are cool and the work is not mindful. Now we harvest and work to gather the crops of material and spiritual natures until the frosts of autumn set in.

FENUGREEK--is used at this time to invoke the waning Sun God. It is sacred to Apollo and will bring His wisdom to one's heart. FRANKINCENSE--is used to cense the gardens or fields at this time to celebrate the beginning of the harvest. HEATHER--is used to decorate the Circle or altar, if this is not available you may use other grains such as wheat, rye, and the like. HOLLYHOCK--one long stalk should be carried into the Sacred Circle by the children of the group at the beginning of the ritual procession to the fields. In this respect it will bring the ability to flourish again to the fields when laid upon them. MISTLETOE--two berries...and no more than that!.. should be added to the ritual cup. This will bring fertility to all who drink from the cup, fertility of the body as well as the mind and the spirit. It will bring creativity through the coming winter. OAK--adorn the altar and circle with oak leaves. Grind the bark for use in the incense. Oak is sacred to the Romans and the Druids. It sacred to Jupiter, Zeus, Blodeuwedd and Odin. The acorn is a symbol of all. Never gather from an Oak which is a host for mistletoe, these trees should be reserved for holding your rituals beneath and left to their own devices. However, if you may gather the mistletoe, it is considered the most magickal of all mistletoe. PRODUCE--bring some of the produce you have grown in your own garden to the altar as an offering to the deities. SUNFLOWER--use this in decoration or any other manner which you would like to. It is wonderful to add sunflower petals to the ritual bath prior to rite, it brings increased happiness into your life and attracts joy and fills the spaces which re empty or sorrowful. It is an herb of Immortality and carries the virtues of adoration and worship. It is used to honor all Sun Gods, particularly Apollo and is said to be a patron herb for Leos and Virgos. Acacia, Blackberry, Calendula, Crab Apple, Grapes, Heather, Pear, Rose, Sandalwood, Sloe. Mabon: September 21 Now our harvest is almost complete, all but the hardiest fruits and vegetables have been harvested and are being canned, dried or stored in another fashion for the coming winter. It is the night of Balance, when all has come to the focal point of the Center and now begins its long swing toward the winter months. This is the night when the Pagan Sun-God now actually begins His journey to the Sumerlands and dies off during the coming months awaiting to be reborn at Yuletide.

ACORNS--are now strung into necklaces and used to adorn the male members of the coven. BENZOIN--is used in the incense and makes us more aware of the balance of light and dark, male/female, positive/negative. FERNS--this the appropriate night to gather them for later use. HONEYSUCKLE--the dried ground wood and bark make wonderful incense at this time. MARIGOLD--decorate with the blossom which are normally quite colorful and full this time of the year. MILKWEED--on this night there are Faeries and little folk about, this is the herb to help you see them. MYRRH--is used in the incense and the ritual cup. In the manner of incense it brings about spiritual awareness and understanding of the currents of energy flowing throughout the ritual. It is important to use when trying to understand times of sorrow both personal and spiritual. PASSION FLOWER--petal are placed in the incense. It calms angers and replaces it with an understanding of the condition. PRODUCE--bring the best of your current produce as an offering to the Sun God to take and use on His journey and to dole out to those He meets along His way who have need of it. ROSE--WHITE roses are appropriate at this time. They represent the pureness of the love of the Goddess for the God. SAGE--is taken in the ritual cup. Carries the virtues of strength, mental health, wisdom and banishes negativity. SOLOMON'S SEAL--is now used when casting the Circle. An herb of Protection and consecration. THISTLES--are appropriate to represent your endurance throughout winter. Aspen, Balm of Gilead,Calendula, Cypress, Fern, Hazel, Mugwort, Oak, Orris, Pine. Samhain: October 31 or November 1 The last of the Pagan Harvest festivals. We now take in the last of the cold crops and take stock of that we have, ensuring there is enough to last us through the coming coldness of winter. We make the last of our preserves, dry the last of our herbs, can the last of the fruits and so on.

It is the night when the Sun-God enters the Summerland bringing the souls who have departed that year with Him. It is the night we celebrate our Ancestors, Those Who Have Gone Before. The night when we ask Those to speak with us, to tell us of themselves, to show us our paths and for High Divination purposes. ACORNS--at this time of year they are symbolic of the Life Within, the life yet to be fulfilled. APPLES--are used in the Feast and the bark from the tree is ground and used in the incense. They are considered a Religious herb and when eaten in this form on this night it is said to add a higher magickal dynamic to the ritual and it is then possible to bring out deep personal internal change. Bobbing for apples is very appropriate...and fun!...on this night. CORNSTALKS-- help to set the mood and add an imaginative element. DITTANY OF CRETE--should be tossed into the fire to share with those who have passed. It is used also to seek the wisdom from those who are still between lives, teachers, guides, loved ones. It is used to invoke Persephone and Osiris both deities of the mystical Otherworld. FUMITORY--is used in the incense. This herb is associated with the Otherworld and legend proclaims it sprang from the gases of the earth being born of the Earth's inner self and spirit rather than from seed. As an incense it purifies and is especially good to purify the Sacred Space and cleanse it or distractions and negative energies. MULLEIN--should be gathered in advance an dried. The tops are soaked in oil or fat and then lit on this night, they make wonderful torches. Be sure to soak them for at least fifteen minutes before lighting, attach them to a heavy metal rod if possible. They may also be picked and dipped in Candle Wax....use your leftovers from your Candle Spells for this purpose. NIGHTSHADE (DEADLY, BELLADONNA) is gathered this night. It is the one night when the negative energies which be cast aside Their eyes from this plant and will not see you take it. Do not eat it! OAK--adorns the altar and the male members of the Coven. PUMPKINS--make those Jack-O-Lanterns! Place them all around your Circle and your altar. SAGE--is used in the ritual cup. Apple, Broom, Chrysanthemum, Dittany of Crete, Fern, Hazel, Mandrake, Mint, Mullein, Deadly Nightshade, Woody Nightshade, Nutmeg, Oak, Pear, Pomegranate, Pumpkin, Sage, Thistle, Wormwood.

Energy Cleansing Techniques

Posted by Whispr
This past month I have been traveling and working in different places. It has come to my attention that many people are unaware of ways to cleanse and protect their energies. So, this month Id like to concentrate on this important practice. This is something I teach in my five-day workshop. If you are psychically active or sensitive or work with people and their issues on a regular basis then this is probably one of the most important exercises to remember. We are all forgetful of this practice but like taking a shower in the morning or stopping at a red traffic light, remembering can save our skins. Here are a few ways to cleanse and protect yourself and your space. 1.The simplest way of cleansing is using thought. I always imagine light cleansing and protecting my personal space and the space I work in. I always say, No darkness can live in the light. Whenever you need cleansing either at the beginning of the day, before you go to bed, between clients, or when you enter a public space imagine light like a waterfall or a spotlight above your head showering down upon you and cleansing you all the way through your body on every level of your being. You will find a regular practice on this link. 2.Smudging is a good way of cleansing. Native Americans believe that sage takes negative energy up to spirit to be transformed. Personally I prefer to use a smudge stick made of sage rather than the loose leaves. Use a large feather to waft the smoking sage into your auric field and the space you in habit. Dried herbs are usually used but you can also use a fresh piece of sage and just move it through your auric field. 3.Incense can be used in the same way by burning a piece of charcoal and placing the herbs or resin on top. Once lit allow the charcoal disc to turn white before placing the incense on top. Also remember to place the charcoal in a fireproof container. I have a brass cauldron I like to use. There are many different kinds of incense but Copal is probably one of the best for cleansing. Again use a feather smudge stick to waft the energies into your auric field and your personal space. 4.Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Take a shower or a bath to cleanse energy. Salt such as Epsom salts are perfect in a bath. You can also use a salt scrub in the shower. Salt is a cleansing agent and is well know in the Craft as a protective agent.

5.Crystals can help protect and cleanse your energy. The most obvious one is quartz crystal, but I remember a lady coming to see me who wore a smoky quartz Vogel crystal. I couldnt get into her energy until Id asked permission of the crystal and it somehow checked my energy out. Amethyst is also a great cleanser if you work on a computer. Place a cluster on or need the computer to neutralize the electromagnetic energy it transmits. One the subject of computers you can also use plants to soak up the vibrations. 6.Although this is usually for grounding it feels like hugging a tree will help to protect you. 7.One day I watched a performance and felt some strange energy coming from one of the performers. I asked spirit to protect me. Immediately two people stood up in front of two either side of me, then someone came to stand behind me. I was protected from all sides. It is something so simple that we tend to forget but very powerful. So, if you feel that you need cleansing or protection just ask your guides for help. They might send a thunderstorm so just be careful what you ask for! 8.I use a wonderful gift from Aura Soma called the Serapis Bey Quintessence. It is in liquid form and cleanses both my auric field and my space. You can make a spray from water and aromatherapy oils such as rosemary, which is cleansing, lavender, also cleansing and protective, or any oil you intuitively feel will help diminish negative energy. 9.From a protective standpoint you can also use a blue bubble with lilac flames on its edges. These are the Guardian Angel colors so will help protect you or you space from harm. 10.Sound is an effective cleanser. Clapping your hands, using bells, chimes, crystal bowls, music, singing, anything that has a vibrational energy that can change stagnant energy helps. 11.Blessing is a simple way to cleanse and protect. You can say a blessing or prayer, you can bless water and infuse it with your light and healing and then drink it, or spritz with it or sprinkle it throughout your space. These are just a few suggestions to help give you some ideas of ways to cleanse and protect. I have some further information on the articles page. Youll find some energy exercises to help you if you work as healers, and a meditation to help bring in protective light, ground and center you for the day.

Air is all around us. It fills our lungs and gives us life. Air tosses the colors of the world into disarray in the fall. It is cool and warm, heavy and light. It carries on it the smells of nature and is forever within us. Fire is warm in the cold, light in the dark, and purifying. Fire can burn, and it can heal, it can destroy and create. Fire is my enemy, and my friend. It can kill, and it can save. Fire burns forever. And the passion that drives the flame never dies. Water is life and death, light and dark, hard and soft. Water is past, present and future. It is liquid, solid and gas. It is gentle as rain and terrible in its force. It is all knowing; it holds the deepest secrets. Earth is strong and steady, full of nurturance. Earth is our Mother. She is always there for us, and we can draw strength from her. For each bit of mud, each stick and stone; are blood and muscle, skin and bone. Spirit is what makes us us. Separate but not, bound but unbound. Spirit leads us to help others in times of need. Then suddenly in the silence, you feel youve been inspired. Its in the hands of spirit; it has been from the start, in the quiet meditation, in the stillness of your heart.

How to Create Sacred Space

Remember the old TV commercial with the frazzled mom at the end of the day pouring bath salts into the tub and exclaiming, "Calgon, take me away"? She probably didn't define it that way, but she was seeking her own sacred space. Sacred space is something we all need especially these days when we are constantly bombarded with noise, stress and fast-paced living. Magical practitioners and shamans also create sacred space before performing many of their rituals and practices. According to which traditions or magical practices you follow, there are numerous ways to create sacred space. Here are a few simple ones that anyone can do. 1. Sun Yellow Candle - Take a Sun Yellow candle (a bright yellow candle that has no orange overtones) and paper or wooden matches. To create sacred space with the Sun Candle, you will need to "charge" it, or program it to do so. To charge the candle: - Stand or sit in the South facing North with the Sun Candle in front of you - Light the candle using wooden or paper matches (do NOT use a lighter) - Wait until the candle flame is steady and tall - Hold your hands up to and around the flame, focusing your attention on the candle and flame. - Say the charge verse below in a voice of command (a strong, powerful voice) Child of Wonder, Child of Flame, Nourish My Spirit, And Protect My Aim! If there are other people in the room with you, you can change the "My" to "Our" and make the words "Spirit" and "Aim" plural. Leave the candle burning in the room for at least 30 minutes (be sure the candle is on a protected surface such as a plate and is not a fire hazard). At the end of 30 minutes or when you feel ready, blow out the flame (don't snuff it). 2. Sacred Place Sit in a quiet, comfortable location and close your eyes. See yourself walking somewhere that is pleasing to you. See all the details, smell the smells around you, hear the sounds around you, feel the weather conditions. Start to see a place ahead of you that you are going to.

See what it looks like in as much detail as you can. It might be an opening in a wooded area, or a gazebo by a lake or anywhere that you find pleasing and relaxing. Keep walking until you arrive at the place. Breathe deeply in your sacred place and decide what you will put here. You might want to put an altar of some kind or your magic books or special artifacts or magical tools. Feel yourself being in this place you have created and spend as much time as you can there. When you are done, retrace the steps you took to get there and return to where you started. You can then return again and again to this same place anytime you wish or need a getaway. I find sometimes in the middle of a particularly stressful day that just seeing the place in my mind and anticipating the next time I can go there helps to calm things down for me. 3. Sacred Circle Find a place either inside or outside that is at least 3 feet in diameter. Burn sage in a firebowl, smudge stick, or incense burner. Starting in the east direction, carry your firebowl or smudge stick and walk towards the south creating a circle using the smoke until you return to the east. You can also use a chalice (tool of the magical element of water) with spring water in it and a pinch of sea salt (representing magical element of earth) and go over the circle you created with your smoke, sprinkling the water. Then starting in the east direction invite each of the Winds into your circle in this order, Winds of the East, Winds of the South, Winds of the West, Winds of the North and finally invite Sky Father and Earth Mother into your circle. You can use this space you have now created to meditate, perform a ceremony of some type, drum, chant or just sit with the higher powers you have invited in. When you are done, remember to thank each of these higher powers for being there and bid them farewell starting with the Winds of the East, then south, west, north, Sky Father and Earth Mother. Creating Sacred space gives us a way to experience peace, serenity and a connection with the higher. It is necessary for anyone following a spiritual path of any kind and allows us access to third force and our inner voice or spirit. Spending time in your sacred space is healing for body, mind and spirit. So give it a try, "Sacred Space, take me away".

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN HERBAL INCENSE

Posted by Whispr
If you would like to learn how to make your own incense by hand, read on. The following incense recipes are a basic instructions for making a "non-combustible" herbal magical incense. Non-combustible means that the incense will not burn on it's own, but will need to be burned over charcoal tablets. If you would like to make a non-magical incense, just skip the visualizing and empowering directions, but follow all other instructions. Making your own incense is really pretty easy, once you learn how. TOOLS NEEDED FOR INCENSE RECIPES First, you will want to have all your tools and ingredients together, before you start. You will need: Your incense ingredients A measuring device-spoons, cup, or scale, depending on the quantity you are making. Mortar and pestle(a grinder)-if your herbs/resins/flowers are not already in a finely powdered form.( A hammer and metal mortar-if you have to crush a stone ingredient. Some small bowls, plates or containers for the powdered ingredients. A large wooden or ceramic mixing bowl-to blend your ingredients. A container for storing your finished incense(airtight is preferred). A pen and paper-to write down exactly what you did, so you can replicate it, in the future. GRINDING YOUR INCENSE INGREDIENTS No matter what incense reciipes you are using, your incense ingredients will most likely need to be powdered, one by one. I much prefer to do this by hand. Grinding by hand is a wonderful way of adding your own energy to the incense. It is also somewhat relaxing and hypnotic. If your intention is a magical incense, set your goal in your mind, before you begin(prosperity, love, health, etc). It is especially helpful to visualize the intended outcome, as you grind. Even if you are not making a strictly "magical incense", you can still add your intention to your finished incense in this way.

Some incense ingredients will be easier to grind, than others. Some, will take a little practice to find just the right method. Experiment and find out what works best for you. Sometimes, you may even find that it is easier, if you don't fight so hard, when grinding. Be flexible. If you have to grind a stone, you might try smashing the stone with a hammer, first. Then, grind the smashed stone to a fine powder in a metal mortar. If hand grinding your incense ingredients is plainly distasteful, you have arthritis, or you just don't have time, you can always use an electric coffee grinder(do not use the grinder for stones). If you are creating your own incense recipes or blends, be sure to write down every ingredient, what quantity, and what you visualized, as you go along, so you can recreate this incense in the future. Incense has been smoldering somewhere in the world for thousands of years. It has been used for religious, and magical purposes, even as an air deodorizer, much as it is today. It is a wonderful way to change or set a particular mood. All organic matter has it's own inherent energy or vibration, as well as planetary and elemental correspondences. In making ones own magical incense, the magician chooses ingredients that will have the energies needed to manifest the goal. For a love incense recipe, you would choose ingredients that are known for promoting or attracting love. These energies may be used alone, or blended to add power to the magic work. A cleansing incense recipe might be used to clear a space of all negativity prior to the magikal work, as well. In ritual, the energies are released through smoldering, and become accessible to the magician to use towards manifesting the desired magickal goal. BLENDING YOUR INCENSE INGREDIENTS Now, that you have all your herbs, resins, crystals, barks, flowers, etc. finely powdered and filled with intent, you are ready to mix and blend them into a finished product. Take all your incense ingredients, one by one, and add them to the large bowl. As you add each ingredient, mix them together with your fingers, visualizing the intended outcome as you do. Add your own power of intention, coming off your hands and blending with the energies of the incense in the bowl.

Know that your will is infusing the incense with the energy to help manifest the magical goal. Now you are ready to add any oils or liquids to your blend. You won't need very much, just a few drops is usually sufficient. If you are making a large amount of incense, and you are short a powdered ingredient, but have that oil on hand, it is usually fine to substitute a couple of drops of oil for the herb. Blend the oils and/or liquids into your incense, visualizing as you go. Some incense will call for a particular stone, as an ingredient. Usually, you only need a very small pinch, to give the effect. Add this in last, visualizing as you do. If you only want to boost your incense, you can normally add a pinch of amber, as it is an all around power booster. Dragon's Blood resin is also used in this way. Place the finished product in an airtight container, and mark it plainly with name and date. Keep it in a cool dark place. When you are ready to use your incense, just light a charcoal tablet, fan for a minute, then add a teaspoon or so of incense to the top of the tablet. If your incense recipes are being used for a spell or ritual, a tablet will burn for at least 30 minutes so you can light it at any time, and add the incense later.

Author Annie Finch In the season leaves should love, since it gives them leave to move through the wind, towards the ground they were watching while they hung, legend says there is a seam stitching darkness like a name. Now when dying grasses veil earth from the sky in one last pale wave, as autumn dies to bring winter back, and then the spring, we who die ourselves can peel back another kind of veil that hangs among us like thick smoke. Tonight at last I feel it shake. I feel the nights stretching away thousands long behind the days, till they reach the darkness where all of me is ancestor. I turn my hand and feel a touch move with me, and when I brush my young mind across another, I have met my mother's mother. Sure as footsteps in my waiting self, I find her, and she brings arms having answers for me, intimate, a waiting bounty. "Carry me." She leaves this trail through a shudder of the veil, and leaves, like amber where she stays, a gift for her perpetual gaze.

Circulating the Energy of the Body and Aura

Posted by Hedral
Years ago, this is one of the first things my "Guidance" taught me. I literally knew nothing about chakras or any type of energy work. My Guidance gave it to me piece by piece and when I began working with the method "They" showed me, (or maybe I remembered it from a past life, who knows?) I felt a tremendous difference. I was in the process of writing how I do this, step by step, for my daughter. And I decided to put it on here. It is a simple but extremely effective way to fire up and move sluggish energy through the body and the aura. So here it is. My little treatise on my first energy work. It is developed from my beginnings in energy work before I even knew what it was. Here Goes: Circulating the Energy of the Aura To Circulate your Aura is the simplest and most efficient way to help your mind, body and spirit feel and work better. No matter what the circumstances, it will help you. Our bodies, physiologically, run on energy. The parts of ourselves that our not physiologically present also run on energy. This is what is usually called the etheric body. However, I think labels confuse things too much and then it becomes a strict regime or dogmatic doctrine. This is self defeating and the importance of the act is then lost in an illusionary hierarchy of dogma. So, I will present this to you as my Guidance presented it to me so many years ago. Simplistic and natural. It is the act of doing it that works not the explanation of why it works or how to do it in such a ritualistically exact manner that is spiritually correct. This is not a religion. It is not exact or rigid. It is simply the act of using what is so available to care for the parts of our bodies we cannot see. Even though we cannot see the aura around us, it is there. The energy is there. It is our first line of defense. It defends our immune systemphysiologically, emotionally and mentally. I also believes it protects spiritually. But that is my belief and I wont go into it here. Energy that runs throughout our body and around our body is likened to blood running through our veins and arteries. It cleanses, energizes and guards us from soaking up energies from our environment. It keeps us from feeling drained when we are around a lot of people.

Like blood; when energy becomes congested, it causes the auric stream to become clogged. Like platelets sticking together in our blood stream before it forms a full blown clot. When these congested areas of energy grow larger, it blocks the circulation and eventually this will show up physiologically. It exacerbates depression, anxiety, physical sickness. In my belief, it often precipitates it. For when we are experiencing energy blockages, our first line of defense is compromised. Our major chakras or energy centers become sluggish and then we have even more problems. For our energy centers are like major arteries and veins. When they are sluggish we cant feel our best and emotionally we cannot cope as well as if they were open and flowing. And so, I come to this. The simplest and most efficient way I know of keeping the aura circulating and cutting down on energy blockages. Step one: Sit comfortably or lie down. You can burn candles and incense or play music softly in the background if you like it. I do burn candles and incense if it is possible simply because it puts me in mind frame that is open to circulating my aura. A kind of signal for me to focus on this moment. But it is not necessary nor does it make the practice any more effective. Tell yourself that you are going to circulate your aura. Take three deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling deeply. Step two: Think of being in a group of trees on a sunny day. And in one spot a ray of bright sunshine peeks through the leaves and branches. Think about this focused ray of sun entering the top of your head. Feel the power of this light and its warmth as it goes through a spot on your crown down into your body. Now think of it traveling down a long pipe down the middle of your body. Image the pipe extending down into the ground. Here we are grounding the energy and mixing it. The earth is a powerful organism. Filled with energy. We are all connected to it. Now think of the energy coming back up from the ground and moving into both feet. Focus on your feet, ankles and legs. Feel the energy moving up your body through your legs and then the upper part. Feel its path as it goes up to the top of your head and then out.

Feel the energy move out of the top of your head. It will go above and then part in the middle. It begins to flow down each side of your body, flowing until it comes into your feet again. As you feel the energy flowing into your feet again, stop and take three deep breaths. As you breath, feel the energy moving up your leg and into the upper part of your body. When you feel it reach the area where the solar plexus is located, stop and allow yourself to gather all the worries and troubled feelings you have. As the energy moves upward through your head, think of it traveling straight up. Taking with it all the worries and troubled feelings you have. Straight up into another place beyond the this reality and environment. A place of healing, and higher vibrational energy. I, personally, image it going to The Source of us all. But that is up to each individual. It can go to God/Goddess, Creator, Guidance, Source, Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Shekinah, Shiva, Vishnu, Holy Spirit. Whatever you consider your Higher Source. Step Three: In a few minutes you may feel a sense of heaviness at the crown at the top of your head. Inhale deeply and think of yourself pulling the energy in your head and feeling it going down. Exhale as it breaks up in its density and continues to travel through your body. Inhale and exhale deeply as it moves down to your feet, down into the ground and back up through your body. When it gets back up to the top of your head, think of the stream of energy splitting and going down the sides of your bodyand back into your body through your feet. After this it should be circulating well. Cleansed, refreshed and recharged. If you are a bit light headed..think of it going back down into the ground and back up. Things to Remember: The energy of the aura circulates all the time but sometimes life in this plane is stressful and our emotional reactions and stressors slow the flow. At times it becomes more sluggish if we are working through some trauma or issue to the point of developing a blockage. Deliberately circulating (focusing on it) your aura at least once a day will begin to clear some of these blockages and prevent newer ones. You will feel better afterward. With an increased sense of wellbeing and calm. It will not make your problems, fears or anxieties go magically away. But it will assist you to meeting these challenges with a firmer stance, a clearer head with calmer emotions. This is a very basic yet powerful exercise. You can do this anywhere and anytime. Especially once you get used to doing this. You will find yourself doing it automatically after a time. Once a day is fine but more is alright too. A strong aura is such an asset for over all health on all levels. And always protect you and your aura when in a crowd of people by thinking of yourself surrounded by a bright and warm healing light. One that protects you from lower vibrational energies and emotionally draining people and situations. Filtered so you can sense your surroundings for discernment but the unhealthy energies will not pull or mix with yours.

Beautiful Memories of Magical Moments

Afternoon sun in late fall and the chilled breezes pulls my mind to cherished Magical Moments. The rays of sun pouring through the window with soft meditation music in the background. Sitting with friends at a table loaded with candles, the aroma of incense in the air around us. Tarot cards, pendulums and crystals strewn across the table. Deep conversations about the secrets of life. The soothing and satisfying atmosphere created by giving each other Reiki or other energy healings. The afternoon seems endless and we are transported to a place that does not mark time. We are so into the experience of merging our energies and engaging each other in deep heart to heart conversations and our experiences. The "outside" world and all the concerns that go along with it are miles away. We are suspended in a magnificent cocoon where time has no meaning and we are feeling our own magic. It is profound. I miss this and yearn for an opportunity to be with them again. It lives powerfully in my mind and my memories. I hold these sisters of my heart very deeply inside me. I can close my eyes and transport myself back to that time , the imprint of it was so significant and powerful in my life. It was the first time I express something very vital to me, my secret self. Without fear of shock, reprisal and disapproval. Just acceptance. It led me to want to know this part of myself even more in a deeper way. It helped me keep sight of my most meaningful path, no matter what happened to me along the way. I am so grateful.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

We Are More Than Our Physical Bodies

Posted by Hedral
What keeps us from our highest state of "Being"? The common verb which becomes the ultimate noun I believe, from my own contemplation and studies over the years, it is the portion of our psyche shaped by and focused on the illusions of the physical world. These illusions are passed to us from a collective preconditioned mode of thought that we acquire in infancy. The search for "The Self" is manifold and reaches past the physical brain. A magnificent organ, wired to respond and process stimuli. The Self or "Being" is not the human body. Humans are not just a physical body wired wondrously to the organs and systems within. The physical body is a finely constructed vehicle to aid The Self while navigating through the physical world. The Self is both connected to the physical body and it is remote. Idealized restrictions of thought shaped by our preconditioning have confined the totality of humans to a physical body. We are more than that. Humankind has manifested all manner of things, even with these self imposed restrictions. Developing systems of reaching past the confines of precondtioned and reflexive thought patterns. Through religion and systems of ritualized seeking into the unknown and unseen. Delving into the mysteries of life through seemingly hidden compartments of the human body and modes of stylized thought patterns. These are not hidden compartments. In truth, they are but obscured and forgotten pathways. Once found they become more accessible and far reaching. And then we discover, we are more than our physical bodies. The common verb becomes the Ultimate Noun.

Find confidence after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment

Posted by bunny
More and more people are surviving breast cancer, but the challenges don't end there. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month approaches, Lisa Salmon looks at the disease's impact on body image and confidence Around 55,000 people are diagnosed each year (the majority being women, although the disease also strikes around 400 men a year), but fewer than 12,000 now die from breast cancer annually. Naturally, cancer survivors have a lot to be thankful for, but that doesn't mean that life after breast cancer is problem-free. Women may have undergone mastectomies, or lumpectomy surgery, plus there's the weight gain and hair loss associated with the treatments, and the possibility of early menopause. Coming to terms with these physical changes can be extremely difficult, but many survivors feel unable to discuss their feelings, often because they're so grateful to be alive that they think they have no right to complain. For this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in October, Breast Cancer Care is aiming to highlight the body confidence problems that are so common for people overcoming the disease, and the help that's available to them. "We want to bring this issue to light and get people talking about it. It is possible to find confidence after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment ."

Ismena Clout has had breast cancer for nine years, and for much of this time she suffered in silence about the huge changes to her body.

Diagnosed at the age of 29, she underwent a single mastectomy but didn't have reconstructive surgery as her cancer was aggressive and she urgently needed chemotherapy, and then "I just wanted to get on and live". Afterwards, she kept her angst about her altered appearance to herself. "I didn't make the most of the help that was on offer, and that affected me quite heavily afterwards," she explains. The treatment had also caused her to gain weight, and she adds: "I'd also lost my beautiful long hair that I'd had my entire life, so everything had gone. "I went into a big depression, and I can attribute a lot of that to needing to find who I was again." Nearly three years ago, after more than six years in remission, Clout, who lives in London, found she had secondary breast cancer. It's in her bones, liver, and a lymph node in her chest. Although it wasn't in her remaining breast, she elected to have it removed 18 months ago, because she "wanted to be even". She doesn't wear a prosthesis, and says she picks clothes to distract from her chest. "A bit of fantastic jewellery, a brightly-coloured scarf, a well-structured dress, and people don't notice," she says. She's also had her left mastectomy scar tattooed, to cover it up and make it "more interesting". "Being feminine is about highlighting what's best in yourself, it can be everything. It's so much more than just a pair of boobs. We have to make the most of who we are and what we have," she adds. Full of positivity and life, despite being on strong painkillers and just having started another round of chemotherapy, former facilities manager Clout, now 39, has even begun a new career as a motivational speaker. She urges anyone dealing with the aftermath of breast cancer to use all the help available, and explains that while of course she's very glad to be alive, the illness is more than just a life or death issue. "Quality of life is important too," she stresses. "I want to be able to enjoy the life I have. I want my confidence back, I want to go out and look fabulous, I want to feel like I'm a woman and have my femininity.

"It's so hard because breast cancer affects all the main areas classed as the most feminine - your hair, weight, breasts. Saying 'Aren't you just happy to be alive?' is far too simple." It occurs when cancer cells spread from the primary tumour in the breast to another part of the body. It can be treated and controlled, but is incurable. Secondary breast cancer commonly occurs in the bones, liver, lungs, and sometimes the brain, or near the original primary cancer site. However, if it recurs near the location of the primary cancer, it can be treated with a view to getting rid of it again. "It's very much a disease that you live with these days," stresses Clout. "Here I am, three years after the secondary cancer diagnosis, and I'm doing really well, completely defying the statistics. "Of course, my main priority's staying alive, that the treatments work, being able to walk confidently out the door and not worry that I'll be in pain or fall over. "But I want to look good doing it too - I still want people to look at me and say, 'She's a hot woman'. "Femininity is what's inside, it's who you are. Don't let the disease take that away from you." Trust yourself more - Intelect, Intuition,

Many times we have thoughts but throw them to the side in a situation .,, with many of us having gifts to see or sense we maybe right in what we sense.. not by what we are told .. we are so use to a conformed way of growing up that we do not trust our own intelect in which the higher source / Creator has givin us within.. doesnt take a book to know or learn.. feel it inside trust in it .. your gut feeling many times will be right even if it doesnt seem normal to you.. because in reality the universe and all that is does not work with conformed ways.. never has.. Trust in yourself more and listen to yourself you never know many times we are givin the answers we seek from within by our higher conciousness , intuition, if you have doubts it may go away give you time to think more own it.. but many times you will find validation comes to you in one form or another, Too many times people say "I knew that but I didnt" because they trusted more in a conformed boxed belief then themselves which is fed information by higher being of existance.. Much Peace and huggs Shadow

Have you been hurt by others? Offended? Betrayed? Maligned? Gossiped about? Cheated on? Stolen from? It could be small stuff. If youre a driver, and some other "idiot" driver cuts you off, do you have this urge to press on the accelerator, overtake that car, and cut him off as well? Do you like to give him a dose of his own medicine? Today, God will teach you the insanity of loving your enemies. I know its difficult. Impossible, even. But heres a big promise: If you do this, streams of healing will flow into your life. Let me tell you a story , our church, Family was only 7 years old. We were still very small, somewhere between 200 to 300 members. There were very few preachers in the community and I was thankful that one of our Elders, lets call him ben, was a very effective preacher. A lot of people admired ben for his deep knowledge of the Bible. Because of this, I always felt ben is a big blessings to the group. Back then, ben worked as an insurance salesman. But soon after joining us, he left his job and became a fulltime leader of our group. what I do not know... ben had campaigned behind my back. He held underground meetings, inviting his friends to join him in his new church. A few days later, we had a prayer meeting. We were so small, we knew that some people were missing. People were asking, So I stood up on stage and . I announced, "Friends, Brother ben has decided to leave and start a new church. More than twenty of our members are going with him" A loud gasp shook the room. As I explained more details, people began to sob around me. Others were very angry. Some were so angry at ben, I heard them say, they will never succeed!their group will go down, Their work will never be blessed by God!" I raised my arms to quiet the increasing buzz in the room. "Im very hurt by what happened. Im as hurt as all of you are. But Ive prayed to God about this matter. And its very clear in my heart that God wants us to bless them, not curse them. God wants us to love them, not hate them." Everyone stood up, and with many tears, we prayed together. I wish I could tell you that this story ends in a totally happy way. Sadly, bens new church didnt last. At first, they were growing. But after a few years of exciting growth, his members dispersed and the church closed down. And ben went back to selling insurance. Why? One reason I can think of: Because when I was 21 years old, God taught me to love my enemies. When you love your enemies, you open your life to so much blessings. Who are your enemies? Dont just refrain from doing bad to them. God wants you to do good to them.Ask for His guidance. Live in light.

How to remove A ghost or negative entity from your home..

Posted by Willow Raine
Merry Meet Friends, in response to my blog yesterday I mentioned that there could possibly be something other than a ghost in your home or even workplace. I will tell you this...DO NOT attempt to remove a ghost unless you do your research ok? Consider all your options and read this... One of the most simple methods of removing a ghost or spiritual entity from your home is to speak to the ghost in a loud and firm voice and tell it to please leave your home. You don't need to be mean about it, especially if the ghost isn't showing any signs of being evil or mean to you. Mentioning that the spirit is in fact a ghost might help if it is unaware of the fact. The ghost may still believe that it is alive and still think it is the owner of the home, portraying you as the intruder. Remember though, this method is best used in the less severe haunting cases. There are other, more stranger ways of dealing with paranormal pests out there that many claim to work. One method I have read about is hanging garlic cloves in all the areas of your home that you believe to have, or has had an unwanted paranormal presence. Another thing one can try to do to remove a spirit from their home is to remodel, or redecorate your home. This can work on spiritual hauntings and on residual hauntings as well. For those that don't know, a residual haunting is not actually spirits of the dead, but left over energy creating sounds, smells, and apparitions of people and things of the past. These things are not conscience of you or themselves. If the ghosts you are dealing with still will not leave and are showing signs of evil and harm to you and those that live with you, you can first try to remove any negative feelings you may have inside yourself. Try to resolve any arguments and disagreements that members of your household may be having. The reason you want to remove any negative emotions from your home is because the spirit may be feeding off of it. If the ghost or spirit is truly evil you may be just giving it the reaction it wants from you. Even if this doesn't completely remove the paranormal pest, it may still weaken it to a certain degree. I strongly believe it is at least worth a try. If nothing else you will at least have a happier home.

For the most nastiest of Ghosts, negative spirits, and demons you should first try having your home blessed by a priest, or other holy figure. Even if you are not religious you can still have blessings performed in your home. If that has little or no affect on the paranormal entity or entities, your next step should be to get a hold of your local ghost investigations group, particularly one that has a proven track record for removing unwanted supernatural presences. Take your time and do your research on these supposed professionals before you decide on which one you call. There are always some that are more professional than others. If the professional ghost investigators fail, then There are only two other options that I can offer. An exorcism can be performed by Catholic priests and Protestant ministers to help drive out the more malicious spirits. Exorcisms are however a very serious matter and should only be performed by trained, qualified professionals. Never attempt to perform one yourself and never use things such as Ouija boards to try and contact the spirit or spirits! If all else fails then the only thing else you can do is to simply leave the location of the paranormal disturbances. This is a very extreme measure to take but if the ghost or other type of entity is that awful, harmful, and possibly even abusive and dangerous, than leaving may seem like a small price to pay for your peace. These are all the options I have found in my research for removing ghosts, spirits, malicious spirits, and even demons. There may be others out there with more methods of removing ghosts. It might be a good idea to check them out as well if you are having troubles with the paranormal. Just remember to choose your methods wisely. If one is not careful, he or she might make their ghostly problems get much worse instead of better!
