LaPrairie 4-H Community Garden
The LaPrairie 4-H members have worked very hard to organize the community garden. The garden isnow in and looking great! A few families volunteer each week to care for the garden. Theirresponsibilities include checking on the garden 2-3 times during their week. During the week theysign up and care for the garden. A list is posted of work to be done in the garden which includesmainly weeding, watering, and picking veggies as they ripen. No garden knowledge is required to keepup the garden. We want to help the community learn about gardening as well as help the needythrough the produce donations.-Savannah Waller and Rachel McDonald, Reporters
