Gender in Spanish
Objects are either masculine or feminine. Generally, words end with o are masculine. Example: libro el libro Most words end with a are feminine. Example: mesa la mesa

 But there are always an exception in Spanish. Example:- El programa la mano

 If the words end with e it can be masculine or feminine. Example: caf el caf clase la clase

 There are words that similar to refer to person or animal in Spanish (gender can be identified with o or a). Example: nio nia chico chica hermano hermana gato gata

Plural form

1. Words end with vowel- add s Example: casa casas

2. Words end with consonant es Example:hotel hoteles hospital hospitales
