Just in case you wanted to know who makes all the typos in the news-letter, it's that guy down there in the lower right.I, Tim Vincent, came to Myrtle Beach in 1999 a broken, broken man. Istarted attending Beach Church in 2003 and a few months later Cele- brate Recovery where I addressed my issues of Alcoholism, anger andresentment. I quit drinking in the secular environmentand spent 24 years still not knowing why my life wasempty. Thanks to CR and Beach Church and Jesus,I am now filled.I lived in Allentown Pennsylvania for 49 years but I callConway, SC my home.

New Vision to convey the idea
format but in concept as well. It is easy to see the format change but I think you can see the concept change equally aseasily. I enjoyed sending out the ENews, but it occurred to me that it did not really convey the idea of what we are allabout as well as I originally hoped. The old format kept you informed of what was going on at Beach Church and it did itvery well. Celebrate Recovery is not about one, one person, one church. I wear a T-shirt and on the back it reads, “Youare not alone”. That goes beyond any one person and to me says that not even our recovery groups are alone, and so Istarted working on this new format that will tie all the groups on the strand together, so that we not only can support oneanother by attending other events and Celebrations but now we can feel in our hearts that none of us is alone and we arein this thing … Together.Nearly 2 years ago Shawn Norton shared a vision. His vision was to have CR 7 days a week. Well we all worked togetherand we are real close. We now have CR 5 days a week, but we have exceeded his vision because not only are we close tothe 7 day mark … We are also a connected group of people who are captivated by Christ and whose changed lives arechanging lives and none of the Strand Recovery Groups is alone. WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER because every one caresabout the other.

OPEN DOOR BAPTIST
Open Door Baptist Church is in a re-organizing mode. As soon as they have a celebration service scheduled, I will start to post them. Re-organizing is a challenge to say the least. Let’s all remember to pray that God leads them.
PAWLEYS ISLAND
I was not able to make contact with Pawleys Island but I am sure they will be as enthusiastic about the new format for theENews as the other 4 recovery groups have been. I did not want to delay the ENews any longer and I hope to get them on board soon. We support Pawleys Island and want to see them grow along with the rest of us.
