FYI,
from today'sclips.Mostly a Team 1 issue, methinks, but
it's
partially in
Scott's
ballpark,
too.
I'm
sure the good folks at the National Security Archivewould be thrilled to show us what they've
got,
if
it's
not already on the
web.
Bonus points for the

quote,
too.

CNN: While the Taliban have been
forced
tosurrender, Mullah Omar and Osama bin Laden, aswell as other
major
leaders in the Taliban remain
at
large. What needs to be done to achieve thesurrender of these men?TOMSEN: First of all, there needs to becontinuing intensive military pressure, until theyare apprehended, both Mullah Omar and Osama
bin
Laden.
It's
important that they be captured oreliminated. They were ultimately behind the
horrific
attacks
on the
United States
on
September
11.
Also, they
are
responsible
for the
enormous amount
of
death
and
destruction inside
Afghanistan
over
the
last
five
years. They mustbe captured and dealt with. I believe they will becaptured or eliminated.
