08 July 2009Dear Parents,On the occasion of the 150th year of Jesuit education in the Philippines, theSuperior General of the Society of Jesus, the Very Reverend Adolfo Nicolas, SJ, willdeliver a special message to Jesuit educators and administrators from all over thecountry on Monday, 13 July 2009. The Faculty and Staff of Xavier School, along with those of the Ateneo de Manila University and representatives from eight other Jesuit schools, are expected to attend this dialogue.Since this meeting with Father General was scheduled prior to the unforeseensuspension of classes due to the A(H1N1) virus, we are constrained not to haveclasses on Monday.Be assured, however, that we are making the best possible adjustments in this year's school calendar to ensure that the missed class days will not compromiseour students' learning.Please be guided accordingly.
