I want to invite everyone who reads this note to a multi-course meal that I will prepare and serve beginning in July. It will be made up of a number of entrees from scripture, served over a bed of fresh prayer. Some of the servings will be exquisite cuisine while others may seem” scattered, covered, and smothered.” Some will be your personal favorites, while others will seem like the vegetables you dislike the most good for you, but not necessarily what you would have picked for your own palate. Dessert and beverages may vary with the entrees. Look at the worship and praise as the appetizers to get you ready! Will you join us for all the meals? In another vein-please plan to join us on July 5
th
for our church -wide get together following worship. We will provide BBQ and beverages; you provide the sides - potato salads, baked beans and desserts-especially desserts!! Make enough for your family plus one! Vacation Bible School was a great success! Thank you to Marla and all the crew for organizing, staffing, teaching and serving! I know God was pleased! Your Pastor and Friend,Clark

Before we turn around it will be time for school again. There are several veryneedy areas that will require school supplies especially in our present economy. We want to offer supplies to our needy school children here in Elloree throughthe school systems. West Virginia, our on-going mission, will need schoolsupplies, as well. To do this we need you help!!When you are shopping, please pick up supplies and bring them to the church.Any supplies will be great. If you drop them off, I will store them in a safeplace. If you would like to give a donation, please give it to Karen Heddle andmark it for school supplies.Partial list of supplies, but feel free to improvise:
Notebook paper (wide rule and college rule)Spiral or bound notebooksPencils, pens, erasersMarkersGlue (stick or bottle)Small pads for assignmentsPencil pouchesCrayonsCalculators, rulers, protractors, compassesConstruction paper, three ring or pocket foldersBook bagLunch Box or bag or even brown lunch bags
We will deliver these supplies in August. The trip to West Virginia will be aback to school kick-off with a cook-out for the adults, too. We need to help thePeytona Church. I will publish the date as soon as possible. I cannot thank youenough for your help with this.Jenny Rourk, 897-2560 or RourkLJ1@aol.com
