Introduction

Khazanah Nasional Berhad, founded in 1993, is an investment company of the Government of Malaysia. The group is a dominant wealth fund that specialized in finance, telecommunications, media and communications, utilities, information technology and transportation sectors. The group is the prior firm assigned to boost shareholder value creation, efficiency gains and enhance corporate governance companies controlled by the GovernmentLinked Companies. Recently, Khazanah Sdn Bhd has increased it portfolio value in 2010 by executing strategic measures such as seeking both local and foreign parties to boost domestic investment activities, progressing gradual divestment programme of non-core holdings and non-core assets, also, continuing to build for the future which include ongoing execution of the various programmes in capacity building.
