Just a quick update on the club…
Rick, Gino &Larry have beenworking on the new 20 yd.target houses. Lots of manhours are involved. Be sure tothank them when you see them!Remember when you put targetfaces on the butts, move them
around so they don’t get worn out so fast.

art time is 8 am to try to avoidthe hot summer sun.Speaking of which, Mike Ross has beendoing some leg work to help us get someshade. Now we have to draw up a plan and
talk to the County. We’ll see where that gets
us, but Mike, thanks for the legwork!Vandals broke into the range and did alittle damage. Members are asked to keep aneye out, and report anything suspicious. If yousee someone on the range
you don’t know
,
ask to see their ID. If they’re not a member,
give them an application from the mailbox.The gate combination will be changed atthe Aug. 16 club shoot. Make sure your dues
is current so you’ll get the new combination.
If you’re getting paper targets out of the
storage can, be sure it gets properly resealed.If you have a few minutes at the range, wecould use some targets glued up. Ask Rick,
he’ll tell you what needs to be done.
Aug. 7, 8 & 9 the TBOF (TraditionalBowhunters of Florida) will be holding anannual 3D shoot in Ocala. Targets will be outto 25 yards. The cost to stay in thebunkhouses there is $10/night. Anyoneinterested in more information, contactDarren.
We’ll be in Canada for the World Police & FireGames, so the next newsletter won’t come
