This workbook provides a series of time value of moneyinterest factor tables, similar to those seen at the backof many finance textbooks. The values presented in thetables are multipliers. So, if you wanted to know thepresent value of $100 to be received in 5 years at 10%interest, you would look up the value in the PVIF table(10% column, 5 period row) and multiply it by 100:PV of $100 in 5 Years at 10% = 100 x 0.6209 = 62.09 The other tables work similarly, but for different types of cash flows. The interest factors are typically labeledPVIF, FVIF, PVIFA, FVIFA (the latter two are for annuities). The two annuity tables will work for either regularannuities or annuities due. Simply set the Type to eitherRegular or Due in in the drodown list in cell B7 of thosesheets. The tables have been set up so that you have a greatdeal of flexibility. You can set the starting interest rate,the amount by which the rate increases, the number of columns (30 or fewer), and the number of rows (60 orfewer). I use Conditional Formatting to hide any columnsor rows that you may have excluded.If you wish to change the number of decimal places
