— AT&T* today announced the availability of its
mobile Internet service in many new areas of McKean County including:
Smethport: East Smethport, on Smethport-Ormsby Road (Route 59), Main and MarvinStreets (Route 6 West), Smethport-Allegany Road (Route 6 East), and in the area of Marvin and Potato Creeks.
Lewis Run: on South Avenue and the Buffalo-Pittsburgh Highway (Route 29), Lafayette Avenue (Route 4001) and in parts of the Allegheny National Forest.
Lantz Corners: at the intersection of Grand Army of the Republic Highway (Route 6) andthe Buffalo-Pittsburgh Highway (Route 29).The new coverage complements AT&T’s existing mobile Internet footprint in Bradford. AT&T is an industry leader in delivering the benefits of the mobile Internet, offering powerful and flexibleconnectivity, a wide range of smartphone and other device options, and simultaneous voice and datacapabilities for an amazing wireless voice and Internet experience.This upgrade is part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three-year investment plan announced lastfall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its
