Landscape watering
with anirrigation system, sprinkler orsoaker hose is allowed
only once a week, from 3-8 a.m. and 8-10 p.m.
on your designated watering day:No watering on weekends with asprinkler, soaker hose or irrigationsystem. Areas without a streetaddress, such as medians andneighborhood entryways, water on Wednesday.
And don’t forget to followthese year-round rules:
•
Water waste is prohibited atall times. This includes lawn watering overspray and runoff.
•
Restaurants may serve wateronly on request (to reducedishwashing).
•
Charity car washes allowed only at commercial car wash facilities.

remain in eect, unless addedto or replaced by Stage Two rules.

or other aesthetic water eatures —outdoors or indoors — is prohibited, unless a variance has beengranted or 100 percent non-potable water use.
►
All non-public swimming pools
must have a minimum o 25percent o the surace area covered with evaporation screens whennot in use. Inatable pool toys or oating decorations may be usedor this purpose.
►
Washing impervious cover
such as parking lots, driveways, streetsor sidewalks is prohibited. Health and saety exceptions to this rulemay be requested rom SAWS in writing.
►
Residential washing o vehicles
or other equipment is allowedonly on assigned watering days and times. A hose with anautomatic shut-o nozzle or bucket o fve gallons or less may beused. Water should not be allowed to run into the street.
►
The use o commercial car wash acilities
is allowed any day.
►
Operators o gol courses, athletic felds and parks
must submita conservation plan to SAWS. For requirements, contact SAWS at704-SAVE. Gol courses, athletic felds and parks may not irrigatebetween 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
►
Hotels, motels and other lodging
must oer and clearly notiyguests o a “linen/towel change on request only” program.

San Antonio Water System uses drought restrictions,established by city ordinance, to proactively manage the region’s water resources.Stage Two Restrictions begin when the Edwards Aquier level drops to 650 eet mean sea level at the monitored well.
The use of treated wastewater or recycled water is a defense to prosecution under these rules. Stage Two restrictions continue until there is an announcement in thenewspaper that Stage Two has been canceled or that Stage Three is in effect.
